About
Cypress Head, an Arthur Hills design, is a blend of holes and styles, a layout of two distinct nines that impress players through different means. At 6,805 yards from the tournament tees, the course is not a beast (there are three alternative sets to choose from).
The first nine is the highlight at Cypress Head. These holes take on a variety of shapes and strategies with little repetition.
It features multi-tiered undulating greens and preserved wetlands with water coming into play on 14 of the 18 holes. The 14th hole is a 478-yard par 4 over water that comes into play off the tee as well as the second shot to the multi tiered green.
The Golf Club also features a lighted driving range and practice facility. Two practice putting greens, a target green and sand bunkers for honing your skills before taking on the challenges of the course
With its' superb conditions and beautiful wetlands setting, Cypress Head is a public club that offers a private and tranquil experience.

Good condition
The course is in good condition and pace of play was pretty good.
Great Shape
The greens are in really nice condition. They are running fast and true. The tee boxes and fairways are also in really good winter condition. It was a very enjoyable day. The pace was great. We played as a threesome in 3.5 hours. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.
I will be back a few more times this winter.
Great course not great staff
Course is nice and has a fun layout. The staff are by far the worst in the area. Rude and unprofessional
Serviceable Golf in Palm Coast FL
This was a decent warm up for some
Better courses later in our vacation. Nothing at all scenic about this old course in an old neighborhood of mostly run down houses. Greens were very slow. At least you could hit off grass on the droving range.

Notification
Would be nice if the course would have notified us that the back 9 was closed due to cart path repair. We were so looking foward to playing the whole course. We drove 40 miles to play thereonly to find that only the front 9 was being used. I had booked thru Golf Pass the week before. When they do that it really slowes the pace of play down not counting the slow players. 4 1/2 hrs. A little long for that course. Oh well on to the next course.
Average
Arrived to be told the back nine was closed for maintenance. Staff said that was why the fee was so 'cheap'. Fair warning on GolfNow at the time of booking would have been appropriate. Would have gone elsewhere as it was my only round for this vacation. I went to this course based on the strong positive reviews for course condition. Geeens were good, but overall It was average at best. Fairways thin in many areas.
Great shape!
We played this on a perfect December day. First time we’ve played here since last winter. Course is in immaculate condition from tee boxes to great greens! The pace was a bit slower than we prefer but when you’re on a great Florida course in December, who can complain! Staff is super friendly & accommodating . Highly recommend playing this course.

I’m am so glad I decided to go here. The staff took my golf bag and the customer services was second to none. NEVER have I’ve been to course where the RANGER??…. offered me water every time he passed by. Just absolutely nice!!
The greens were fast tho .. I’m talking at LEAST 11 or 12 on the stimp!! Fairways were immaculate. You know the course is well kept when your divots carves out like butter.. JUST SILKY SMOOTH!! I only get that feeling from private courses!! The layout is great too!! Had to hit 170+ shots to hit the green OVER WATER several times!!
I will always come back here!! Don’t know if I should try another course as this one set the bar very high for this area of Florida!!
Too expensive
Love the course would not play again unless I got a similar deal-all other rates too expensive…The club house, bag guys abd bark cart folks are really great. I left my range finder on cart and got a shortly after I left since I live a mile away…nice to know there art still honest folks with with good character still around…thanks
Absolutely love this course
My son and I play here every chance we get. The tract is fun, and the course is always in phenomenal shape. We can't wait to play here again.
