The Saints has a fun logo Photo submitted by TimGavrichGP on 11/16/2018
Waited 20 min as 3 groups bunched up on par 3 #10.
Finally after 10 & 11, switched to #18 and quit. about 1 hour behind at that point !
Poorly managed first tee...
There was an issue getting groups off on time. It was cartpath only, which I understand slows pace, but the starter was complaining about the pro shop sending out singles. There were 4 groups waiting to tee off when I got there. Teed off 30 minutes after my booked tee time. The starter was rude and put his friends who showed up last minute out early before those of us with booked times. Quit after 9 holes because it took almost 3 hours to play the from nine.
challenging layout, fun course to play
Although the course had received a great deal of rain it was still playable. Cart path only was not an issue.
Good as always
The course is in good shape, but it’s very wet right now and had a few embedded balls and was picking up mud on almost all of the shots. The greens are in great shape and are very receptive. Can’t wait till the course drys up some.
A Touch Long For Us
Course in really good condition. Greens true and plenty of challenges. As we play husbands V wives, the length from the white tees is too much for us seniors but the next two forward tee's are too close together to be fair to the wives, so we played the white tees. Unfortunately, these tee's are just too long on five or six holes, making it very difficult and less than enjoyable so even though it's a great course we may not return.
Tough pin placement
The greens keepers wife must have upset him that morning… because let me tell you that the holes were cut in some very difficult places. They were like Sunday pin placements for a tournament and the greens were running really fast. The course is starting to dry up some, but still picking up mud on drives with little runout. Still one of my favorite newly discovered courses and can’t wait to go back and play.
Nice course but busy
The course was nice and in pretty good condition. The bag drop was ok, had to ask for information. Checked in but they neglected to tell me that you needed to purchase tokens for the practice balls. Went to Starter who had a lot of trouble figuring out who was with who and when to send off. 15 minutes later we were sent out as a twosome. NO ONE was around after that mess. Pace of play was unnecessarily slow. 5 hours at hole 14 and there were empty holes …
Another great day
Love the vibes here
Helpful friendly staff
Great course conditions from tee to green
