Nice course and very nice staff but plays very slow
Great muni for the $. Quit complaining and enjoy the course
Great round, fun layout and greens are honestly great. Unsure of all the complaints this place gets. It’s a muni that the county oversees and quite frankly for the price point, can’t beat it. Golf down here in season is $100 a round. Pace was above their standard of 4 hrs so a little slow and was waiting on most shots, wish the Marshall did something (or existed).
Will be back
Always windy!
It's always windy here which always seems to be in your face. Also, the pace of play can be pretty slow, but that generally opens up when you get to the last few holes of the front 9 as some folks only play the front.
Beautiful day to play golf
Hadn't played in some and connected with three other golfers that were at the same level. Great day, had a good round for not playing, good challenge and course was laid out well for a public course. Would play it again!
Good value for the money
Because of the wind, this course can play a lot longer than its yardage, and it has been windy each of the first 3 times I have played. Pace of play can be slow but still finished 18 in just about 4 hours. A lot of folks seem to quit after 9 so the back 9 opens up vs the front. Most of the water is out of play if you have reasonable control, so a good solid course to play. This is likely to be my home course.
Good course for the money
This is a pretty nice course and from a golf standpoint fairly challenging for this hacker. It's been windy every time I have played which has made 350 yard par 4s play more like 425. Pace of play is very slow--they let 3 twosomes go off ahead of us as twosomes, and of course things get held up at the par 3s and the groups refused to join each other and create a foursome. Good news is that a bunch of people quit after 9 so the back 9 was much quicker and more enjoyable. Not surprisingly, I played a lot better on the back when the pace of play picked up. The lack of a beer/snack cart out on the course is a bit disappointing. People I have been hooked up with here have always been good people and fun to play with.
Jensen Beach
Convenient location. Easy parking. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Tee time is starting time. Nice practice range. Challenging but very playable course layout. The 19th hole is a great finish.
Good but overbooked
All and all the course was in very good shape but the pace of play was terrible
I think it’s a case of way overbooking for money
Nice course, fun round
First time playing here. Course was in good shape and pace was good. Only had to wait to hit a handful of times. Greens were consistent. Sand was the only negative as it was pretty packed but only in a trap twice so no biggie. Cart girl came around often. Very nice time and would come back.
