About
This Treasure Coast golfing jewel embraces the traditional values of golf course architecture emphasizing shot value, variety and dramatic effect. Meandering through an 800 home residential community, St James offers 4 sets of tees for individual playing ability and a challenging round for all levels. The 6700 yard, par 72 design features 64 dramatic bunkers and 17 water hazards. The club also offers a state-of-the-art practice facility, with natural grass tee, simulated fairway bunker and dedicated short game area with putting green.

St James
Solid and challenging course. Greens always kept in great shape.
Greens were fair and consistent, but a little rough in places, and not very good looking. Pace of play can be a little slow, but that depends on who is in front— this is true of all courses.

Good value, fair layout
Busy the day we were here, group had shotgun start just befoe the last few groups of the day got off. Took us three hours to play nine holes, but with no one behind us we were happy to just practice with several balls. Several holes along the noisy interstate highway. Greens and tee boxes great. Wide forgiving layout with no suprises. Modest clubhouse no showers. Practice area good for chipping and putting & driving range

This is a golf course for GOLFERS
Had the pleasure of playing the turf club today and I was impressed. Course is in great condition and layout was great! Greens are fast and undulating making it quite tricky. No crazy bells and whistles here, just really good golf. Wide fairways with huge tee box’s make way for some forgiving shots but beware deep green side bunkers and some water will sneak up on you. I love this course, I will be back. Super happy.

Great Course with Challenging Greens
This course is always a pleasure to play. The greens are fast and challenging and the course is in excellent shape. One of the best values for money in the Port St-Lucie area. A must play.

Good course
This was our second time playing the course. The highlight is the lightning fast greens. They roll true, but have some killer contours. Five hour round did not sit well with us, but it happens. Great value. Will play again.

Sunday here is No Fun day
This is my home course and it is just not worth golfing here on a Sunday after the locals golf here every Sunday morning. They obvously do not fix any ball marks, divots, or rake the bunkers. Also there is always trash and fruit lying around the course. The fruit I guess from the mixed drinks. Staff is great but just do not have the heart to hold them accountable.

A nice day
We enjoyed the course but it is a fair distance from our house so we wont be playing there too often. Everyone was nice and the pace of play was great.

Challenging greens
Greens are very challenging.. the layout is nice. They fairways are well maintained.
The only negative comment will be the noise from the Florida Turnpike.

Poor Pace of Play
Pace of play not properly monitored and enforced by staff.
We appreciate your candid feedback. We will continue to make a concerted effort to keep a reasonable pace of play especially on weekends.
Fun golf
It is always fun to play that course, but it was very wet after the big rain.!

The course is in very good shape. The greens are tough to read and fairly fast. The fairways are in good condition with plenty of grass and very few bare spots. The course is wide open, for those of us who sometimes have problems with direction.
nice day out
course is pretty forgiving off tee but greens are tough roll nice and smooth pretty quick if you miss in wrong spot tough to two putt tee boxes were in prettygood shape as well as fairways except for spots up next to greens were it looks like course has given up trying to stop cart riders parking that close to green. almost every hole big dead spot usually left of green that they have let go to dirt or have actually put gravel in there.one week spot of course will still play again but it affects aesthetic of course

Nice ..some work needed..you do hear the traffic..but it is a fun place to play..
