About
This Treasure Coast golfing jewel embraces the traditional values of golf course architecture emphasizing shot value, variety and dramatic effect. Meandering through an 800 home residential community, St James offers 4 sets of tees for individual playing ability and a challenging round for all levels. The 6800 yard, par 72 design features 64 dramatic bunkers and 17 water hazards. The club also offers a state-of-the-art practice facility, with natural grass tee, simulated fairway bunker and dedicated short game area with putting green.

Would play again
We had a 11:56 tee time. I played the white tees. It was a very enjoyable round. My wife and I played as a twosome and passed 2 groups on the front. We appreciated they let us play through immediately and didnt spend a lot of time waiting. We played in a little over 3 hours, but Im guessing it was slower for those teeing off later than us. We both liked the course. Wide fairways and challenging greens. Conditions were better than average, although a few greens had issues. Greens were fast and rolled true. Would definitely play again.

Just below average and TERRIBLE conditions
The fairways are like hitting off concrete, the golf cart we were given would yell at us with this annoying beeping when we were on the cart path so their system is all messed up for keeping people in the right place for golf carts whatever electronic fence technology they’re using is wack, starter was very friendly but clubhouse manager was kind of a jerk just not very friendly, staff seemed lazy overall not friendly and inviting. Course layout was nice but like I said the conditions were just so bad couldn’t even play your irons properly it’s literally all sand and dirt no grass anywhere to speak of really, clearly not groomed, but for that price honestly I didn’t expect much but still st. Lucie trails is right down the road and it’s like three stars higher in my book for ten more bucks a person, won’t be back sorry

Can’t wait to go back
You can’t really tell how big the course is until you played and wow it’s massive. Some construction or repairs here and there but they are making huge strides. Grip it and rip it !

Great Layout, fun course
We really enjoyed our golf round. The clubhouse is old but the restrooms were updated and clean. A driving range is available, a practice area, and a putting green just before hole #1. A little bit of a links style with wide landing areas for your drives. Nice residential community, and the houses are far enough so they’re not in play! Fairways are a little dry but you can move your ball slightly if you don’t like your lie! Greens were nice and not easy! 2 of them had damages. I would recommend this golf course.

My review
The fairways were cut down too low, bald in a lot of places, tough to pick the ball clean. Tee boxes were beat up. Greens were fast and true and the layout was nice. There were a few holes with bad drainage from the previous rains. Other than following the very slow womens group on Thursdays, it was a pleasant day. Shot a 90

My favorite in this area
I just love playing there. It is the best value for the money.
I always feel welcome and staff is really friendly. This layout just seems to be perfect for my game, although there are a few greens that are not in very good condition, but it is still enjoyable to play there.

Great course, great people
We brought a group of 12, about half of whom actually play golf, to St. James as a part of a bachelor party weekend. The folks there took outstanding care of us! Nicest staff in golf. The course was in fantastic shape. Hard, fast fairways make you feel like a tour pro bombing it out there. A bunch of reachable par 5s and short but challenging par 3s. Can't thank the owner enough for his hospitality! Top notch and great value.
