About
This Treasure Coast golfing jewel embraces the traditional values of golf course architecture emphasizing shot value, variety and dramatic effect. Meandering through an 800 home residential community, St James offers 4 sets of tees for individual playing ability and a challenging round for all levels. The 6800 yard, par 72 design features 64 dramatic bunkers and 17 water hazards. The club also offers a state-of-the-art practice facility, with natural grass tee, simulated fairway bunker and dedicated short game area with putting green.

Course was fast and dry greens were very nice and very receptive to ball landing soft. Shot 75 was nice coerce would recommend this course to anyone.

Distance and Yardage Markers
I like playing the course. Although they were sanding the greens, they still rolled well. I love all the undulations throughout the course and the greens. Rare in Florida.
Like many public courses, I am often disappointed by the lack of attention paid to distance signs and yardage markers. St James can improve greatly in this area.
Also, some directional signs for the carts are needed, especially on the back nine

Course is Dry
- pace of play was good
- greens coming back
- course needs to be watered this time of year and it shows on many of the holes
- tee blocks need to be seeded/watered (cleaning the million broken tees would even help)
- golf cart might need to be recalibrated as it beeps very frequently when it shouldn’t be (middle of fairways and other areas nowhere near greens or ponds)
- with some watering or rain; the course should pick up

Needs work
The staff here are interesting. We got there and there was couple fellas smoking. I thought they were just hanging out but they worked there. The starter was strange. Now the course was beat up all except the greens. They are working on tee boxes but man does this place need some work. The fairways are tore up and some holes have grass missing in alot of places. It would be a decent course if they keep fixing it up. Maybe teach the staff some ettiequte.

Awesome round
I really enjoyed playing this course, staff is very friendly and professional. Course is well kept and the bathroom are clean. Would definitely recommend this course. It's worth every dollar.

Great experience
Had a nice time playing The Champions Turf Club at Saint James. Maybe the 6th time I played the course this season. It can be slow in the high season, but today the pace of play was fantastic. Hot deal from GolfNow made the value exceptional. The course is in good shape overall. A special shout out to Chris working the carts. A friendly young man representing the course in the most positive way.

Pretty Cool Corse
This course has more hills on it than any other course I’ve ever played in Florida. I found the layout very interesting. It’s not super fancy, or the most challenging, but it is a lot of fun.
