there was no sand in the bunkers. I am a good to very good bunker player , but was unable to get out of any of them. Pace of play was not adressed randers did not do their job.
Great Course, Great Shape, Fast Greens
Greens were running to an 11. Fast and true. Open friendly layout. Great staff. Played on Thanksgiving day early and got around the course, two of us, uninterrupted, in three hours. Course was in great shape overall. Worth the trip to Alva.
Fast true greens. Nice round
Very nice layout. Courteous and friendly people. Nice warm up range with balls supplied but late in the day they will run out of practice balls.
The greens are quick and break true.
I will complain that often the starters don't optimize. They will put a twosome behind a foursome. They will put me, a single between two twosomes rather than making a threesome.
Good sandwiches. Excellent locker facilities.
Conditions are good
Had a good round. Only issue was a little rain. Course recovered with smooth conditions 3rd time playing will be back

have played here a few times while on vacation. very nice course in great condition. staff friendly. greens rolled smoothly and were medium fast. highly recommend. free range balls with round.
Great as usual
This course is consistently in great shape, challenging from the blues for an above average player. I shot an 89 from the whites, with 5 - three putts.... it was windy, but I typically play the blues. Staff and Bar Staff are great, overall, a very enjoyable venue and course
Great Layout
Excellent condition, generous fairways, tough greens. Recommend you play it.
Very nice
Glad I booked it, after a long lightning delay was able to play. Great value in the summer. During season it's probably closed to the public. Would love to play it under dry conditions.
River Hall
This is one of the best courses in SW Florida. Great layout.
Great course
This is a beautiful wide open course. Very handicap friendly with very nice staff. Went into the clubhouse after and they have wonderful food that is priced very reasonably. Great value all around for the money
Fantastic course
Definitely worth every penny paid. Great course and GPS'd carts too make it nicer! Course was in great condition also. One of the best courses in Fort Myers.
played late in afternoon greens where fast and really hard I've seen the course in better shape however we really need rain down here still one of best choices for the price practice facilities are wonderful Thanks,Bill
Well groomed
The course was in great shape in spite of dry weather. Greens were fast but you get used to it after couple holes. Challenging due to traps but not so much water like some Swift courses
