Indian River Preserve Golf Club

I have played this course since it has originally opened. It was always in perfect shape. Once the new clubhouse was built, either they ran out of money or interest in the golf course. Bulldoze the club house, bring back the old trailer and bring this course back to what it once was. If your goal is to play the worst maintained course in Brevard county, there is no doubt this is the course you want to be at.The Greens are either dirt, or the few that had grass on them were like putting on a fairway. The fairways were mostly hardpan dirt, very little grass. The rough was mostly dead grass/weeds. I fertilize my yard once a year and it's in much better shape than anything on this course. At this point they should just shut it down or sell it to someone who wants/knows how to maintain a golf course. We will not be back unless things drastically change in a good way. If I were Golfnow, I would be pulling this course from your site, all they are doing is making customers angry that they were fooled into playing this goat track.

This used to be one of my favorite courses in the area. It seems they are no longer maintaining this course. The fairways are bare with hardly any grass and the greens are horrible with no consistency at all. Some are just dirt and others have grass more befitting a fairway. It's not about the money, it just isn't worth my time.

Second time there in a week. Was windy and brisk but sunny day. Course was dry some roll on fairways. Decent shape for this time of year . Conditions will continue to improve . Hope to play it more

everyone there was very nice proshop,cart guysetc..the course was pretty beat up from all the bad weather lately

The tees were very impressive, flat and green. The fairways were not well kept. The greens had just been topdressed, and there was no notification published on Golf Now. All greens had risk reward, with a fair bailout. The housing department adjacent to the fairways has really increased, but the building do not intrude or distract from play. The clubhouse is very impressive, and staff was nice.

Course conditions are horrendous; Greens are not green, fairways are crappy - no grass; Slow slow slow people here, pace is terrible.

Have played this course the past 3 years during the start of the year. Last year it was dry as dust, this year it's very wet. Don't think they've cut or rolled the greens in some time. With the wind, it is very hard to hit greens in regulation for guys who shoot high 80's or low 90's. From there the greens are tough to read, many splotches and damaged areas. Three putts happen all to often, With NO grass on the fairways, you're hitting off dirt making it that much harder. I need to play more courses in the area but this one is at the bottom of my list which is unfortunate.

Greens were terrible, there were “pebbles” all over the greens - not sure if it was from heavy rains the night before, but crazy to putt!!!

Nice course good value with recent rain would like to play with better conditions next time. Will be defiantly be at next time

Great layout. Par 3’s are all tough. No grass in the fairways. Greens were sanded and rolled (bounced) inconsistently.

Like this course have played for years there greens and course are in terrible condition last year was very good condition payed 29$ so it was an okay deal

The course is excellent however the greens are infected with a “mold”. The greens need a wide punch aeration then holes filled with sand. The mold is causing the grass to “smear”. Not trying to play the course down … giving you the truth
