Indian River Preserve Golf Club

Course has improved over the last year. Greens and fairway turf are good, Off fairway, boundary areas and waterlines need more improvement. Fair value.

This course used to be in excellent shape but went downhill last year. It is getting better but still has room for improvement. The greens were slow but weed free and rolled true. The fairways are coming back but the tee boxes are poor. still a good deal compared to nearby courses

Started my round about 0920 and caught up to a twosome on the 10th hole about 1030. Fairways were lush and rough was lose your pall long. Some tee boxes need maintenance but with the exception of some wetness from the daily downpours we were getting the course played OK. Finished the round about 1230 and pulled out of the parking lot just as the thunder, lightning and rain got serious.

Driving range is also rough but no big deal. Overall would love to play all the time under 40$ is a good price.

Just wish this course could get it together. Great layout. Just some of the worst conditions I've played on. I'm no expert but it helps to play on better conditions.

The team were awesome and felt welcomed for being a new golfer to this facility. Food was good. Going back again soon.

Good price, and great customer service. Greens are solid, tee boxes need work but for the money a great deal.

I played 18 holes with a cart for 19 dollars. Pace of play was excellent got done in about 2.5 hours. For an extra 7 dollars I added a bucked of range balls and a lunch option from the grille. I mean this might be the best deal in golf. The course is challenging and in decent shape it varies from hole to hole. I saw a lot of complaints about the tee boxes but from the tips the tee boxes were fine. ;-) The closer ones were a little chewed up but it’s 19 dollars so it was far better then I expected. The bunkers are what I look at to see if a course is trying to keep things looking good and they were all in great shape! The guy in the club house was super nice and helpful, he probably would have washed my truck if I would have ask him. Definitely adding this course to my yearly vacation rotation. Anyone giving this place a bad review needs to play a few more public courses. I enjoyed my day!

The tee boxes were in pretty bad shape, not much grass, but to just tee off, you can find some grass. Same goes with the fairways, but lift, clean and place is always available to use so I don’t agree with those that rate this course negatively I haven’t been here in quite a while and it’s actually in better shape than the last I remember it. For the most part, it’s house free and takes you out into solitude. Houses are coming, though. I’ve always enjoyed this course and if you overlook some discrepancies, you’ll enjoy your round here. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Lori in the pro shop is fantastic. I recommend playing this course.

Went there for my birthday and the customer service was outstanding. Love the layout especially the back nine, lots of birds and nature.

My first clue should have been the driving range, or should I say driving field, which is preceded by a sparsely covered range tee box area. There is no signage with yardage markers, mainly because there are no yardage markers. Basically, just see if you can hit the shot you want: draw, straight, fade…yardage doesn’t really matter, right?

Then we have the putting field, I mean “green”. ALL putting surfaces were shaggy and slow. It took 200% more than normal power to get the ball to the hole. On most putting surfaces there is a mixture of sand traps, uneven surfaces, and thick grass. If you can get the ball within 3’ I’d say count it!

Finally, there are the nice rolling cow pastures…I mean “fairways”. Unkept, weed infested and sand ridden “fairways. These were bordered by the most lovely box cut cart paths, which the grounds keepers were ever so diligent about box cutting the “cart path” bout every six holes of your round. They’d also make sure to stop during your shot, right in front of you, which was so polite.

I wish I had thought about taking pictures of all of that happening, but I was so fed up I didn’t even think about it.

The only thing that is there that was delightful was the nice lunch that you get from the clubhouse if you purchase the special. The folks in the clubhouse were awesome, the wait staff was excellent, and the food was great!

This place is trying to get conditions back to being good. I try to deal with the conditions and have been trying to support this place through out the transition, the price is really unbeatable even for the conditions. BUT when you have to hit around them dressing the bunkers for 2 holes, then a mower in middle of the fairway for 2 other holes it's distracting, aggerating, and completely unacceptable! The staff at the clubhouse are some of the friendliest around and I've already let them know my frustration but I'm sure they don't have much control over it. I wanted to play real gold not mini golf to say with o what's the next obstacle on this hole. It starts at the top with proper management and hopefully they see this. I try to go once or even twice a week to this place and will for sure be taking a break and going elsewhere.

If you’re from out of town…go somewhere else!! This course is in terrible shape. The range is a mixture between a sandlot and a cow pasture and the golf course isn’t much better. There are plenty of other great courses to play in the area.
