Tee boxes in bad shape
The tee boxes were in pretty bad shape, not much grass, but to just tee off, you can find some grass. Same goes with the fairways, but lift, clean and place is always available to use so I don’t agree with those that rate this course negatively I haven’t been here in quite a while and it’s actually in better shape than the last I remember it. For the most part, it’s house free and takes you out into solitude. Houses are coming, though. I’ve always enjoyed this course and if you overlook some discrepancies, you’ll enjoy your round here. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Lori in the pro shop is fantastic. I recommend playing this course.

SAVE YOUR MONEY! PICK ANOTHER COURSE!
My first clue should have been the driving range, or should I say driving field, which is preceded by a sparsely covered range tee box area. There is no signage with yardage markers, mainly because there are no yardage markers. Basically, just see if you can hit the shot you want: draw, straight, fade…yardage doesn’t really matter, right?
Then we have the putting field, I mean “green”. ALL putting surfaces were shaggy and slow. It took 200% more than normal power to get the ball to the hole. On most putting surfaces there is a mixture of sand traps, uneven surfaces, and thick grass. If you can get the ball within 3’ I’d say count it!
Finally, there are the nice rolling cow pastures…I mean “fairways”. Unkept, weed infested and sand ridden “fairways. These were bordered by the most lovely box cut cart paths, which the grounds keepers were ever so diligent about box cutting the “cart path” bout every six holes of your round. They’d also make sure to stop during your shot, right in front of you, which was so polite.
I wish I had thought about taking pictures of all of that happening, but I was so fed up I didn’t even think about it.
The only thing that is there that was delightful was the nice lunch that you get from the clubhouse if you purchase the special. The folks in the clubhouse were awesome, the wait staff was excellent, and the food was great!

Look out for mowers++
This place is trying to get conditions back to being good. I try to deal with the conditions and have been trying to support this place through out the transition, the price is really unbeatable even for the conditions. BUT when you have to hit around them dressing the bunkers for 2 holes, then a mower in middle of the fairway for 2 other holes it's distracting, aggerating, and completely unacceptable! The staff at the clubhouse are some of the friendliest around and I've already let them know my frustration but I'm sure they don't have much control over it. I wanted to play real gold not mini golf to say with o what's the next obstacle on this hole. It starts at the top with proper management and hopefully they see this. I try to go once or even twice a week to this place and will for sure be taking a break and going elsewhere.

Where’s the grass?
If you’re from out of town…go somewhere else!! This course is in terrible shape. The range is a mixture between a sandlot and a cow pasture and the golf course isn’t much better. There are plenty of other great courses to play in the area.

Tees and traps were in ruff shape. Greens had some bare spots. Layout was good and the staff was amazing. Well worth the on line fees.

wrong direction for a wednesday
staff fine, course rough all over, carts turned down, not much oomph for one player. weather improved throughout round, but fairways, tee boxes and some greens really need some tlc. quick pace, though so overall, a good time...but course can be better and quickly.

Disappointing
Poor tees, poor fairways and very poor greens. They wont see us back unless it improves.

Fun with a many challenging holes, but ...
Fun with a many challenging holes, but the greens had not been cut and were sooo slow. Fringe and fairways were spotty. Many tee boxes were mostly dirt. The rate was OK for the condition of the course, but it really needs some TLC to meet expectations. If the greens were excellent (as nearby NSB Muni is) all else can be overlooked.

Much Improved but the greens still need work
The tees and fairways have come a long way from last summer. It was so bad last summer that we stopped playing this course. The greens still need work. They have bare spots and weeds. They were bumpy and slow. When they greens come back so will we.

Great value!
This course is close to me and I love getting quick 9 in before work. Staff is always super friendly. Course is in pretty good shape, greens could use some attention but they look to be trying. Nice layout some elevation holes (for FL), holes with and without water that comes into play. Love having this place close to home.

great course layout
greens need ALOT of work super bumpy and dead with dirt patches. other wise course is really fun to play and challenging.
