Nice layout but rough
We loved the layout of the course but at this time it needs work, especially the greens and the fairways. The tee boxes were OK and it looks like they are making progress but it will take some time for this course to recover. The layout is very challenging, especially the back nine ( which was the front nine when we played) and we got a hot deal on it so it was worth it for us.

Still SO SO on conditions
Got out as a single and zipped around quickly. Fairways still really bare. Tee boxes are starting to grow in. Greens look like they’ve been top dressed or have sand on them. SUPER slow and not really puttable. Paid about $60 so not sure it’s a great value but I do like that I can usually get around it, as a single. In 2 1/2 or so hours. Caveat emptor!

Poor conditions, needs lots of attention.
Very disappointed with the conditions at this course,, the fairways have little to no grass plenty of bare dirt, greens are covered in lots of sand, this is for all the greens. Too bad they let it get to this point, the course could be very interesting. Little value in this course, I would take my money elsewhere, much better courses out there.

Condition
Not in very good shape. Not much grass in fairways. Tees in poor condition. Greens were decent. Certainly not worth $60

Fantastic Staff at Course
The course has a great very challenging layout and day of play high winds added some difficulty to play. An accident on I95 resulted in delay getting to course and the staff was very accommodating to the situation. The folks working at the course are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Had a nice meal at their restaurant following the round and the food and service was as good as it gets.

Nice people
Really enjoyed our round and everything from the pro shop to the cart girl were exceptional and made us feel welcome. The course must be fairly new but is coming along nicely. The front 9 was definitely a little easier than the back 9, front is pretty straight away and not too many hazards but the back makes up for it and gives a nice blend of water and sand to challenge your game. Well worth the money and time spent.

The course overall has a good layout and has some elevation changes (at least here in Florida). But the conditions of the course was pretty poor. The greens had a lot of bumps and were very patchy, the fairways and tee boxes OK, but needed some TLC. I play this course a lot and the conditions are better in the summer.

This course has potential
Firstly, I want to say I love this course layout, the wildlife I always see is amazing as well.
Positives:
-Tee boxes were in great condition
-Bunkers we’re in perfect condition
-Pace of Play (Granted you may wait a little due to the current season)
-Layout (Loved the challenges of the non visible holes/ big bunkers)
-Fun Par 3’s
-WATER
Negatives:
-Rough was harsh and spotty (to be expected but at some points unacceptable)
-Greens were FAR too Sandy (Didn’t even want to putt)
-Fringe of green was filled with weeds on certain holes
-Fairways were decent (Some were Hard, Flat and unforgiving)
-Small Greens
Notes: While I understand this is no professional course, I feel it has A LOT of potential. I loved the views of the course, the challenging layout of the course and the staff. I golf here every 2 years to see if the course has changed and it has been around the same quality both times.

Great time on course that appears to be a revival in progress. Greens are the greatest issue when compared with other courses in the area.

Ugly condition
I have played this course over 20 years and this is the first time I have seen this course in terrible condition. The fairways had no grass andost of the greens were in very bad condition. I will not play this course again. Until it is back on shape. To top it off the cost to play Wednesday was way overpriced for the condition of the course. DO NOT PLAY UNTIL IT IS IN PROPER CONDITION.

Good value for course conditions
Tee boxes and greens were a little below average, overall good value for Friday golf in the spring in Florida.

Dry
Front 9 worse than back. Fairways brown with lots of bare spots Greens have large patches of sand. Difficult to putt with weeds . Back 9 tee boxes better as were greens but still below average Staff friendly and helpful. Course needs water and TLC

Slow play
Played with my wife Thursday and got behind a very slow looking for lost balls older foursome on the 3th hole, we were constantly waiting to tee off behind when there were nobody in front of them. They would not let us play through finally we decided to skip the 8th hole that they were on and go to the 9th hole. There were no Rangers on the course to speed play along! Payed good money to play this course and only played 17holes. Not impressed. Talked with another couple and the end of our game and they said they played around them as well! Rich
