Overall condiiton is average
The course was is ok shape but our experience was greatly diminished by an outing ahead of us. Upon arrival there were +/- 25 golfers on practice green getting rules and waiting to start. Pro shop said they are a shotgun start on holes 1-3 and they shouldn't delay play. Unfortunately many in the group felt compelled to putt out every hole for triple, quadruple + bogeys. This chocked up the course for a 5 hour round.
Greens.
Greens were very fast but smooth. Some pin placement were extremely difficult and placed on humps on greens.
Decent course
Not a bad course. Wouldn’t play over 40 bucks to play there
Indian River Preserve-Repeat
A golf course who addresses feedback. After speaking with the GM about conditions of the course and pace of play, not only did he listen but corrected conditions. Pace of play was not an issue. Past problem was due to third party booking system which created the overbooking. Conditions of T-blocks was due to some equipment issues which were corrected. Great to see this track back up to the high standards I am accustomed to seeing it at. Looking forward to playing this course again. A good track that is fun to play as well as provide the challenge to excite the golfer based on T-Blocks selected

Tee time delayed over an hour
Showed up :45 early to get warmed up. Was then told that tee times were running an hour late. When we finally got started, we were behind a foursome of 2 elderly couples. One of the women actually used a cane to walk. The round took 5 hours. Waited on every single shot. Will not be going back any time soon, if ever.

We had an issue with our reservation systems that day that allowed tee times to be booked in a time block that was supposed to be unavailable due to a small group teeing off that morning. Our staff tried their best to get everyone on the course and let everyone get their golf in but there was absolutely an error on our part. That is not the normal experience here at the course and we certainly apologize for that mishap.

Indian River Preserve
The course had a tournament before our 10:44 am T-Time. They were 1 hour behind. Unacceptable! No marshalls on course. Groups were rushed out by the starter who was having a difficult time getting groups out. There were 3 groups on holes at times. A round where we waited on every shot. The T-blocks were over grown ( 1 1/2 inch high ). Higher than the rough. You can see that the blocks were only moved 3 times as those spots were lower or dead to the ground. Bunkers were a mixture of dirt and sand. Very poor for a Florida course where sand is abundant.
Its obvious that this course has cut back on maintenance and marshall in an effort to save money. Wrong approach with no regards for the paying golfer.

We had some issues with our reservations system that ended up allowing tee times to be booked in slots that were meant to be blocked for the tournament that day. Our staff made their best effort to get everyone on the course as quickly as possible when it was available but we certainly had some difficulties that day. That is absolutely our fault and is not indicative of the experience at the course. I don't like this course
After talking with the staff, I realized it had been 6 years since I played here......did not like it then or now. Could just be me but there are many way better courses around Central Florida. The greens were rough and at the same time fast...softly hit putts bounced around and our foursome all had difficulty making most anything. The course generally has water down one side of the fairway and Florida jungle on the other...bring plenty of used balls. The fairways generally were good with cow pasture quality in places. The round on a Thursday noonish took 4 1/2 hours...was mighty glad when it was over.

Too slow
Unfortunately this course will sell you 18 holes full well knowing you cannot play more than 12.
We have 9 hole rates available all day and our super twilight rate starts at 3:00 and is only $4 more than our 9-hole rate. We have this so that golfers that are caught between having enough time for 9 and 18 holes still have a rate available.
We apologize if our staff did not do a good job of explaining your options at check-in. We try to have rates available at all hours that fit what our guests are looking for.
9 and 18 hole rounds both can be booked online, through our app, and also by calling the golf shop. We hope to see you again soon.
Very dry course conditions nice amenities
Very nice course layout. But barely any green grass in fairways or greens. The entire course including the greens were all dried up looks like they are in a drought and not been watered in weeks. Ponds all had plenty of water? Very Nice clubhouse and friendly staff. If watered would be a beautiful track of golf.
Hello wlawver! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Your feedback is very important to us as we strive to improve the course for our guests every day.
The brown and fast conditions you experienced during your round are not due to lack of water. As you referenced, we have plenty of water in the ponds to use for irrigated the golf course. In mid January, we had a two week stretch where we had frost on the ground in the mornings a total of 5 times. This pushes our Bermuda Grass into dormancy as it is a warm season grass and does not like it when temperatures dip down that low. When it goes dormant, it turns brown and growth slows down which results in the conditions you see.
Once we get a week or so where the night time temps stay around or above 60 degrees, the turf wakes up and starts growing again. When this happens, we have tons and tons of fertilizer we put down to help the process along and jump start the growth again.
The weather forecast for the next few weeks has the potential to be warm enough for the bermuda grass in Florida to come out of dormancy so if you prefer the conditions more like the spring and summer it should be just around the corner.

Needs work
To begin The Tee Box is need a lot of work Fairways are mostly dirt the greens are inconsistent doing good shape summer slow Summer Fest not worth $50 it's a 25 to $30 course I feel sorry for everybody that's there I talked to a gentleman in the front office named Kevin he says as long as the members are happy with the course he doesn't care what the shape is I guess the members don't really know what a golf course looks like

The golf course is currently in a state of dormancy right now due to the cold and frosts we have experienced up until recently. The turf is there and it is healthy, but it is currently laying down and seems thin due to the cold. We do not over seed our greens or fairways as we typically do not get prolonged periods of frost like we experienced this year so the bermuda grass does not typically go this brown or dormant. However, temperatures are starting to cooperate again and as long as they stay this way, the turf will wake up quickly and we have lots of products on hand to help push the growth once it starts up.

Slow and unorganized
No ranger out on course… starter is worthless all he does is tell you to go to first tee.. four 2somes in a row.. tee time 10:40 didn’t tee off until 11… we asked the 2 some behind us to join us because we felt bad .. didn’t help .. almost 5:1/2 hrs..
