Thank you for your review. Our policy is we actually do not allow fivesomes on the course. Occasionally, groups will pair up when out there but if you call the golf shop we will send a ranger around to ask them to split up. We hope to see you again soon!

Also, what features would you like to see added to the app to make it better for you? We are always striving to improve so your feedback is very welcome. Our app users like the built in GPS and ability to touch anywhere on the hole and it shows the distance to that point. The more features we can add the better!

Thank you for your great review! We are working hard to continue improving the course conditions and the tees are really coming along nicely! We are overseeding them all for the winter and are really looking forward to them being in great shape this cool season!

Hi Richard,

Thank you for your review. The course is coming out of a heavy drought that did impact course conditions to some degree. We only had 5.5 inches of rain from March 1-May31. However, now that rain is coming back regularly, the course is mending quickly. The sand you see on the greens and tees is top dressing sand that we put down to help give the grass some material to grow and to help smooth out the surface as the sand settles in. We also use an organic material in our sand which gives it a dark color which can often look a bit ugly when it is put down but it is extremely beneficial for the turf.

The negative to the rains starting up is it does cause the spring weeds to all start germinating at once. The goose grass that you see around the golf course has actually already been sprayed out and will start disappearing over the next two weeks. Give us a couple weeks to benefit from the rains that we are getting and you will see the golf course improved tremendously from where it was during your recent visit due to the drought.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and offer some feedback. We are battling one of the worst weather seasons on record. We went straight from a cold and frosty winter (dozen frosts) straight into a drought that started in March and has not let up since then. On this stretch, our last day of measurable rain was all the way back on May 5th. Due to the high temps, low humidity, and steady wind, the course is very dried out. We are putting out over a half million gallons of water (our full allotment from the county) each night. We have also put down several tons of organic fertilizer across the whole course which helps capture some of that moisture and hold it in longer. Since we are built on an old orange grove, our soil is very sandy and water runs right through. With all of the nutrients in the soil, we expect to see very rapid improvement in the golf course as soon as we get some rain coming through. We have missed both of the last days of rain as it rained all around but not on the course. The rainy season is here so it is only a matter of time. I hope once we have gotten some regular rain and have enough water to push the golf course along that you will give us another chance and see the course improve. Thanks again for your feedback. Thank you for your honest and candid feedback. We are currently in the midst of one of the worst droughts in the last few years. The course was built on an old orange grove so it is very sandy and does not do well with holding onto moisture. We are putting out over a half million gallons of water per night, which is our maximum allotment from the county. We are doing a lot of work to help combat the dry conditions and as soon as the rainy season does start up, the course should rapidly recover. Hi Pingdave14. Thank you for taking the time to offer us some feedback. While we hate to hear you had a poor experience at the club, your feedback is important to us as we work very hard to improve. We have been in the midst of a horrible drought since March and it has not let up as of yet. The course is built on an old orange grove, which means very sandy soil. Water tends to run right through it so while we are putting out over a half million gallons of water on the course, when we have these 90 degree low humidity days with steady winds, it tends to dry us out. Our team is working very hard to fight these conditions including putting down 8000 square feet of sod on the tees and tons of fertilizer that helps hold in moisture across the entire golf course. Once rains get here, the course will improve rapidly. The greens have actually made a decent recovery and with just a bit of rain, I think you would be surprised to see how far they have come.
