YOU NEED A COURSE RANGER
You need a course ranger to prevent 5 hour golf rounds. Played behind couples who needed more range time to avoid multiple lost balls on #10. Just couldn't watch the bad play any longer. Maybe a local rule "When you reach double pay score for any hole, pick up your ball, record double par score and move on to the next hole."
Course in good shape
For being late summer, course was in decent shape. Greens were pretty much healed from previous aeration and weed treatment. Over all nice course, and staff and restaurant are hard to beat.
Just aeriated
No mention of being aeriation being done today. Teeoff should have mentioned this before allowing people to pay and then travel to get there only to find this out. .
Great Play
We recently played on a busy Saturday morning. The pace was slow going in the beginning, but a few groups let us play through which was nice. Even with all of the rain, the course was not overly wet and playable. The staff is always top notch and extremely friendly. If you have never played this course, purchase a layout book or use an app which shows the layout. It will help and makes the round more enjoyable. Go play here! You won’t regret it.
Nice layout
I have played this course before, and everything was great except they insist on letting fivesomes play. These are older regulars I guess, but was annoying following them. This is second time this has happened. That is my only complaint
Thank you for your review. Our policy is we actually do not allow fivesomes on the course. Occasionally, groups will pair up when out there but if you call the golf shop we will send a ranger around to ask them to split up. We hope to see you again soon!

Great course if kept up
Pretty good course. Right now it looks a little bit unkept. Weeds everywhere and tee boxes were like driving out of the rough.
Thank you for leaving us some feedback. Our grounds crew has made significant progress on the golf course this growing season and things are in great shape. We are also overseeding the tees and driving range for the winter and they should be in really great shape!
Nice course
The course was in nice condition and the rate of play was good. The only issue is they haven’t updated the course information since it changed from Walkabout. Since the information hasn’t been updated it made the game a little more difficult especially since they do not show the hole layout on the cards or signs. They do have an app with the layout but it wasn’t that great. If they would update the course info this place would definitely be in my top 10.

Also, what features would you like to see added to the app to make it better for you? We are always striving to improve so your feedback is very welcome. Our app users like the built in GPS and ability to touch anywhere on the hole and it shows the distance to that point. The more features we can add the better!

Course in good shape, challenging, definitely worth playing. Tee boxes a little scabby but fairways, green, and sand traps good shape.

Golfwang Putt
Great looking course with above average conditions and one of the best layouts I’ve played in Central Florida. My brother and I can’t wait to be back.
Too bad
This course is sadly neglected. The T boxes are Sandy and laden with crab grass. The fairways also are laden with crab grass. The greens are slow and diseased and spots of sandiness and crab grass. I remember a few years back and prior when it was absolutely the best. Needs lots of TLC.
Hi Richard,
Thank you for your review. The course is coming out of a heavy drought that did impact course conditions to some degree. We only had 5.5 inches of rain from March 1-May31. However, now that rain is coming back regularly, the course is mending quickly. The sand you see on the greens and tees is top dressing sand that we put down to help give the grass some material to grow and to help smooth out the surface as the sand settles in. We also use an organic material in our sand which gives it a dark color which can often look a bit ugly when it is put down but it is extremely beneficial for the turf.
The negative to the rains starting up is it does cause the spring weeds to all start germinating at once. The goose grass that you see around the golf course has actually already been sprayed out and will start disappearing over the next two weeks. Give us a couple weeks to benefit from the rains that we are getting and you will see the golf course improved tremendously from where it was during your recent visit due to the drought.
