Duran Golf Club - Championship Course

Staff were friendly. Pro shop well stocked. Plenty of well groomed practice facilities. The course was in very good condition - plenty of grass in the generous fairways. Greens were smooth but very tricky. There are a decent amount of well placed bunkers and water carries were reasonable. Only one drawback - no yardage markers that I found and carts lacked GPS - so bring your rangefinder. I played right after a college tournament and finished easily under four hours. Overall a good time.

Tees, fairways and greens were in good condition save for one green on the front that had some dry spots and a small puddle but didn’t affect play at all. Was nice to hit tee shots into fairways that would bounce and run, proper golf. Staff was very friendly. Enjoyed the 19th hole post round also. Great bang for the buck.

Durant is a good course but beat up from the heavy snowbird traffic from the season. It's the worst I e ever seen the greens for their standards but still playable. I'll return but hope they get back to par for their standards.

This course has everything you want in a golf course. Many different and interesting holes, with water and sand hazards strategically placed. And the pace of play was wonderful and we were playing the day they were hosting a junior tournament. The greens were in great shape and the pins were diabolical... Apparently this didn't stop the kids as I overheard someone say that there were two Junior female players tied at -13

Enjoyed a round at Duran Sunday afternoon. Got out on time as a single paired with a father and his 14 year old son. Course was in great shape and greens running at moderate speed. Great layout that doesn't penalize you too much on miss hits. Was amazed at the 14 year old playing from back tees was reaching the par 5's in two going for eagle every time. He hit most greens in regulation and getting inside 10 ft of pin on approach shots. At any rate it is one of the better courses in Brevard County.

Playing in the last foursome we completed our round in the fading light. During the round the wwind was 20 knots with gusts to25. Finishing not scoring low was my objective barely met.

Barely finished round byefore light was gone. Greens were inconsistent. We were the last threesome on the course.

This was my first time playing Duran and it did not disappoint. The course was in very good condition and the fairways were generous. Will say lots of water on every hole and placement is key to scoring well. I will say the front 9 kicked my rear but made up for it on the back end. I highly recommend this course and would say that GPS is the only thing missing.

Duran offers you a challenging but fair round for your money. As mid handicappers, we played the blue tees which was a good fit at 6200 yds . ..choose wisely.

This is the third course we played in the area, and this was the best. The score card looks like there is water everywhere on every hole, but the fairways are generous and you can stay out of trouble with a little care. The course is very fair,.
