About
Duran Golf Club is a local favorite, known for being the best public course in Brevard County. The club is also home to the area's only lighted nine-hole, par-3 course. The course stretches across fertile terrain that was formerly a sod farm, lending some of the lushest playing surfaces on Florida's east coast. The championship layout has a links feel with subtle mounding that frames large, undulating greens. The beautiful landscape comes into play throughout the golf course. Sparkling lakes and ponds, lush grasses, and stately palms all add to the beauty and challenge of the round. Coastal breezes come into play on several holes thanks to the seaside location. Duran Golf Club's practice facility is almost as popular as the 18-hole course. In addition to the par-3 course, there is also a large driving range with mounded areas where you can practice with uphill and downhill lies.

Great conditions and layout
Course has a great layout. More open than I expected. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition.
Great course, poor staff and money grab from Golf now players
My main issue was that when I arrived to play starter said they was going to put up with someone else that I don't know, normally not a problem. However,, the guy they was going to pair me up with was hack couching and obviously sick. I asked the start could you not pair me up with him since he appears to be sick. Starter said you can pay for you're own cart and didn't really have what I was saying. So I went to the por shop to ask, same thing especially after seeing that I was a "gold now" tee time" asked how the cart fee cost it was $20 extra. They just saw it as an extra money grab for the course, instead of actually considering that the other player that sick, didn't ask him and didn't care. So, payed the extra $20 to protect myself from that potential illness. It was clearly handled poorly by multiple staff for their money grab. If I ever see the GM, I'm definitely going to let him know bout this situation. Garbage!!
Best course of snowbird trip
This was by far the best course we played in our two months here in Florida this year
First time play
Good course layout and greens were in good condition. Fairways and tee boxes had wear due to over play.
Nice Day of Golf at Duran
Had a nice day playing Duran yesterday. We got paired with Dave and Matt who were a blast to play with. Overall, the course is a pretty good layout where water comes into play often. There were a few scruffy greens and Tee boxes but that can be expected on a public that gets so much play. Pace of play was pretty good on the front nine but did slow down considerably on the back nine leading which resulted in a 4 and 1/2 hour round. All in all, I'm play it again at $45.00.
Realy deceived
I had play the course few year ago...and boy the field condition were a way lot better...
Maybee it is the cold weather and the rain???
I wont come back...Deceiving for the price...
