About
Duran Golf Club is a local favorite, known for being the best public course in Brevard County. The club is also home to the area's only lighted nine-hole, par-3 course. The course stretches across fertile terrain that was formerly a sod farm, lending some of the lushest playing surfaces on Florida's east coast. The championship layout has a links feel with subtle mounding that frames large, undulating greens. The beautiful landscape comes into play throughout the golf course. Sparkling lakes and ponds, lush grasses, and stately palms all add to the beauty and challenge of the round. Coastal breezes come into play on several holes thanks to the seaside location. Duran Golf Club's practice facility is almost as popular as the 18-hole course. In addition to the par-3 course, there is also a large driving range with mounded areas where you can practice with uphill and downhill lies.

A Must Play
Everything about this course was excellent. Only complaint was the slow play. Foursome in front was very slow, which meant we had to wait a long time on a number of holes. Didn’t see a marshal.
5 hours & IMPOSSIBLE Pins
A nice course with great layout. However, they over book the course and have no ranger. You MUST plan 5+ hours for round. For some reason, they place the pins on crest of hills on greens . IMPOSSIBLE to get close and really unfair placement. It also seriously slows play. A good course, but just impossibly slow with unfair conditions.
Duran course refew
This is a nice course. Course is in good condition, pace of play was good and staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend this course to everyone!
Long Day
If you like 5 hour rounds and slow play this is your course . No ranger and obviously over booked . Course was in decent condition but pins were mostly on impossible areas of the green on knolls. Greenskeeper must have had a rough night
Course in good shape.
Duran was in nice shape last weekend, tee to green. I'd shied away from the course last year when conditions weren't great, but I'll definitely consider playing more often with these conditions. Pace overall was good, played in just under 4 hours despite a slower group ahead of us.
Please fix your ball marks!
Lack of staff
They were out of carts and 15 min late in getting our foursome out for our tee time. After listening to the cart guys and starter blame the earlier womens’ groups for the delay, I asked where was their ranger and was told they don’t have a ranger on Thursdays. Later was told they NEVER have a ranger. After getting started 15 min late, we then waited on every shot and were unable to golf holes 16-18 due to darkness. It took us almost 4.5 hours to play 15 holes. Very disappointing since I have always been told what a great course this is, and that we missed the most fun finishing holes. This is high season in Florida and a ranger to move slow play along would have eliminated most of this problem I am a high handicap golfer but the 3 men that I golfed with are all 12-15 handicaps
