Duran Golf Club - Championship Course

I played Duran a few years ago when I was a member of the Golfweek Amateur Tour. I loved the course and won my flight there. After playing yesterday, I’m kicking myself for not playing here again sooner. Great track. Unfortunately, we couldn’t have a bite to eat due to a wedding in the clubhouse. Therefore, I can’t give the food a rating.

We really enjoyed the course, only issue was not seeing a ranger at all and play was slow on the front nine and people kept jumping in front of us on the back - not even sure where they came from? 2 of them on 17 and 18 told us "they just wanted to get in a couple extra holes" and so they jumped on 17 in front of us. Not the courses fault, but very rude!

We certainly enjoyed our round at this lovely course. The temperature was on the high side, but, we were blessed with a cooling breeze most of the round. It is a pricey one to play,, but, is usually in good shape. The greens were fast and surrounding traps well maintained. We found the fairways to be a bit 'under the weather' in some spots...but, alas...winter grasses and conditions. Unfortunately we had some slow play ahead and angry ladies following...hello, delays were not our fault, as we waited for those ahead. Anyway, the staff was very nice, helpful and upbeat...love that. We would recommend this course overall, so, go out and enjoy it.

Great condition, friendly staff, and good facilities! Pin placements were very difficult with many being on sloping undulations on the greens. Otherwise it was a very good golfing experience.

Always a awesome course to play. Windy but manageable., greens are fast . Always have a great time playing eventhough I drive less then an hour to play. It's my goto course when I can get out to it. Definitely recommend it to everyone.

Great course! Nice design, good shape and friendly staff. Course was busy so pace of play was a little slow but manageable.

The course was in good shape but very slow especially on the back nine. We were a twosome playing behind a foursome for the last nine holes. The group ahead was going to let us play through as there was no one in front of them for a quite a few holes but the marshal told them not to let us play though. This I didn’t understand as most courses encourage you to let the group behind you through if you are holding them up.

Course was well maintained and in excellent condition. Tee boxes for every level of skill. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will be playing there again.
