Duran Golf Club - Championship Course
About
Duran Golf Club is a local favorite, known for being the best public course in Brevard County. The club is also home to the area's only lighted nine-hole, par-3 course. The course stretches across fertile terrain that was formerly a sod farm, lending some of the lushest playing surfaces on Florida's east coast. The championship layout has a links feel with subtle mounding that frames large, undulating greens. The beautiful landscape comes into play throughout the golf course. Sparkling lakes and ponds, lush grasses, and stately palms all add to the beauty and challenge of the round. Coastal breezes come into play on several holes thanks to the seaside location. Duran Golf Club's practice facility is almost as popular as the 18-hole course. In addition to the par-3 course, there is also a large driving range with mounded areas where you can practice with uphill and downhill lies.

The course was in good condition the green were fast but excellent. Fairways and bunkers were good. The only problem was slow players that had no idea about golf courtesy
Good Summer Conditions
Fairways are in great shape. Grass can get thin in the dog days of summer but grass is still plush here. Greens were slower than normal but still ran true.
Overall a nice round of golf. Conditions were very good. Staff was excellent. Got lucky with a hot-deal, otherwise slightly pricey (not overpriced). One of the better courses in the area.
Lovely Course
For an amateur like me it’s a great course. It’s wide fairways gave me max FIRs of my brief golf life. We played in the afternoon. The traffic was light. Breeze was nice, electric carts were quiet. Greens were in good shape as were the fairways. Tee boxes need a bit replenishment. After 3:00 PM it was hot. Thanks to the ice chests and water dispensers, Drank several bottles to keep my internal organs cool. Enjoyable afternoon.
Best Maintained Course in Brevard
Duran Golf Club is always in great shape and has a nice but somewhat challenging layout making it a fun place to play a round of golf. The greenskeeper really made it a lot tougher on the greens for this round as most pins were placed in the most difficult positions possible. Made for an interesting putting situation.
Links Course
Great conditions, classic links layout, a little unimaginative, several times I got to a tee box and felt like I had already played the hole. Would like to see some more dog legs but overall a good course. I would play it again.
You need some rangers out there . I noticed there are some ham and eggers out there that do not no golf .
Best course in the area.
If you would like to play a similar course as you see professionals play on tv, Duran is really the only one that is public and on the space coast that you can tell how you measure up. Close second is Viera East. Having said that there are several courses that are well maintained and play good on the space coast, but Duran is tops.
Getting there
Tee boxes and fairways were in great shape. Greens were slower than normal (9.5 on the stimpmeter according to the sign at the starter shack), but they putted smooth. They are normally 11-12 speed. The undulating greens and wind make the course a real challenge at times. We will be playing there often.
Excellent
Awesome course. First time playing and it won’t be the last. Great conditions, friendly staff, good people out on the course. Cant’t ask for anything more.
Greens slower than normal. Course is in great shape.
Course is in great shape. Fairway, greens and tee boxes great. The greens run slower than normal but the puttt true. I’ll be back!
Not the course it's golf now
I never made my tee time because I got held up at work. Golf now has really gotten so bad. They used to let you cancel your hot deals and get a credit for the rate you paid before 48 hours. Well unfortunately I had to cover a shift because the worker that called out got covid and was really sick. So I picked up the shift to give the surgery center coverage hoping to get out in time after finding out that once again golf now changed their cancellation policy no all hit deals are non refundable. Golf now needs to step up their game and realize things can change and people my not be able to make it. So it's not the course I'm unhappy with it is golf now. Plus you call and can get ahold of no one at golf now anymore. What happened to your company. You have really gone down hill on the customer relations!
Best Golf Course and Practice Facilities in Brevard County
As always, Duran delivers a great, well maintained golf course. The staff is wonderful, the club house is more “upscale” than the local alternatives, the course is challenging, and the provided amenities, down to the high quality of the public water fountains with a “bottle refill” option are ice cold and larger sized styrofoam cups are available throughout the course.
Course in excellent condition
Had a nice day at Duran course is in great shape, especially for June. Greens were smooth but a bit slow. Place was excellent. Great hot deal so I will definitely return.
