Duran Golf Club - Championship Course
About
Duran Golf Club is a local favorite, known for being the best public course in Brevard County. The club is also home to the area's only lighted nine-hole, par-3 course. The course stretches across fertile terrain that was formerly a sod farm, lending some of the lushest playing surfaces on Florida's east coast. The championship layout has a links feel with subtle mounding that frames large, undulating greens. The beautiful landscape comes into play throughout the golf course. Sparkling lakes and ponds, lush grasses, and stately palms all add to the beauty and challenge of the round. Coastal breezes come into play on several holes thanks to the seaside location. Duran Golf Club's practice facility is almost as popular as the 18-hole course. In addition to the par-3 course, there is also a large driving range with mounded areas where you can practice with uphill and downhill lies.

Nice course
We saw that the greens had been recently punched, but had someone highly recommend this course.
The greens are com8ng around. Great layout and challenge. Amber in the bar was a friendly face too.
Would definitely recommend if in town.
Fun Layout Bumpy Greens
Played Duran course many times in the past and have always enjoyed rounds based on fun layout and condition of the course. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Played on Aug 22 and the greens had been punched recently with not much sand to fill the holes. Made a somewhat challenging effort to putt as the ball would wobble severely regardless of where you were putting from. Played with another pair who had never played the course and they indicated they were very disappointed and probably would not be back. I informed them that usually it is one of the best maintained courses in Brevard county but on this day it was a let down. Probably should have provided discounted rates based on the current condition.
Good course
I liked the course but would have liked to know that they had recently punched the greens. More of an issue with GolfNow then the course. They should have had a notice before I reserved.
Poor condutions
First time playing Duran. I liked the layout of the course but the greens were recently aerated and in bad shape- you had as much a chance making a 2 foot putt as a 30 foot put. The fairways had mounds of grass throughout each fairway. I thought they we’re getting ready to bale hay. Plus they were chopped up. I will not be back! Was not worth the price and they said they just raised the price today because it was lower next week. All I ever heard was how nice the course was. It is the worst course in Brevard as far as I’m concerned.
5.15 minute round
Greens recently punched, so super slow and no true roll, but that you can deal with. The 5/10 minute wait on every T-box and waiting another 5/10 minutes for green to clear was just unbearable,! Will say staff tried to address and stated they spoke to the cause of the slow play, but it never got any better!
The course was in good condition the green were fast but excellent. Fairways and bunkers were good. The only problem was slow players that had no idea about golf courtesy
Good Summer Conditions
Fairways are in great shape. Grass can get thin in the dog days of summer but grass is still plush here. Greens were slower than normal but still ran true.
Overall a nice round of golf. Conditions were very good. Staff was excellent. Got lucky with a hot-deal, otherwise slightly pricey (not overpriced). One of the better courses in the area.
Lovely Course
For an amateur like me it’s a great course. It’s wide fairways gave me max FIRs of my brief golf life. We played in the afternoon. The traffic was light. Breeze was nice, electric carts were quiet. Greens were in good shape as were the fairways. Tee boxes need a bit replenishment. After 3:00 PM it was hot. Thanks to the ice chests and water dispensers, Drank several bottles to keep my internal organs cool. Enjoyable afternoon.
Best Maintained Course in Brevard
Duran Golf Club is always in great shape and has a nice but somewhat challenging layout making it a fun place to play a round of golf. The greenskeeper really made it a lot tougher on the greens for this round as most pins were placed in the most difficult positions possible. Made for an interesting putting situation.
