About
Duran Golf Club is a local favorite, known for being the best public course in Brevard County. The club is also home to the area's only lighted nine-hole, par-3 course. The course stretches across fertile terrain that was formerly a sod farm, lending some of the lushest playing surfaces on Florida's east coast. The championship layout has a links feel with subtle mounding that frames large, undulating greens. The beautiful landscape comes into play throughout the golf course. Sparkling lakes and ponds, lush grasses, and stately palms all add to the beauty and challenge of the round. Coastal breezes come into play on several holes thanks to the seaside location. Duran Golf Club's practice facility is almost as popular as the 18-hole course. In addition to the par-3 course, there is also a large driving range with mounded areas where you can practice with uphill and downhill lies.

Wide open course
The day was hot and windy and the course offerred little relief from the elements. If you like wide open courses, this one fits the recipe. Although there are a lot of ponds around, water hazards don't really come into play very much. There are few mature trees to contend with. Mostly flat with some elevation changes on greens. Greens are fairly large and most have false fronts. Overall, a nice course with very friendly staff.
As Advertised
Love the layout and conditions. Can’t wait to get back. Too bad range was closed for the early half of the morning (heavy rains yesterday). Messed up my pre-round routine.
Fairway maintenance
The recent rains have put the fairways in the best condition we have seen in a long time. The maintenance crew has them well trimmed. However, loose cuttings littered the fairways which contributed to lost carry and lost balls. Would be an improvement if cuttings were raked or removed during cutting.
No communication poor judgment
Pro shop failed info me the tournament that was ending was using big holes and that they were making no plans to put flag sticks in regulation positions. Cart boy took offense that I had to drive up to green on every approach shot and go back to my ball on just about every holes. Lots of extra walking and driving. He judged me saying what’s wrong with having a litter fun and tried to make me feel I was wrong wanting to score my round with legal pin holes. He tattled tailed it straight to club house.
Amazing Staff and Play
Pro shop staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. This quality extended to the starter and all other staff in the complex. Course is in great shape and honestly cannot wait to get back out again!
Premiere Course
Have played numerous times. When I feel I have my A game I give it a shot .Great layout excellent conditions Greens were recently aerated, however, so they were slow and a bit bumpy. Took longer than usual because i was paired with a 3 some. Friendly and helpful staff.
Will return.
Played 6/18, greens won’t be ready for minimum 2 weeks
Great track though. Not too windy, finished par, par, par from the Royal (blue) tees, which is a great feat for me. This and Viera East are two, must play when you can on a weekend. Throw in Cocoa Beach Country Club on a Friday and you have a serious long weekend of golf ⛳️ within a few miles of each other.
No Aerificaton informed
Fair fairway condition but cart path only alert, no need.
Deep aerification, but no pre informed by course nor Golfnow; needs a month to play good again
Great day!
Greens were almost recovered from punches. But, had the best score of my life. Everything was working perfectly for me today. Not the course I play on a normal basis. Maybe 7th round in the last 3 years.
Course is challenging but aerated greens made it rough
Challenging layout was countered by the aerated greens. Several courses in the area are aerating this time of year but Duran uses dime sized aeration holes which make putting a joke.
