About
Duran Golf Club is a local favorite, known for being the best public course in Brevard County. The club is also home to the area's only lighted nine-hole, par-3 course. The course stretches across fertile terrain that was formerly a sod farm, lending some of the lushest playing surfaces on Florida's east coast. The championship layout has a links feel with subtle mounding that frames large, undulating greens. The beautiful landscape comes into play throughout the golf course. Sparkling lakes and ponds, lush grasses, and stately palms all add to the beauty and challenge of the round. Coastal breezes come into play on several holes thanks to the seaside location. Duran Golf Club's practice facility is almost as popular as the 18-hole course. In addition to the par-3 course, there is also a large driving range with mounded areas where you can practice with uphill and downhill lies.

Great Course
The course was in great shape. It was my first time playing this course. I really enjoyed it. I will play this course again.
You have to play this course, but be prepared to walk a lot!
This course is spectacular! Worth every penny! Staff is so friendly and helpful, and the course itself: WOW! Only negative is you can not drive a golf cart within 70-80 yards of the green. So if you hit anywhere inbetween the rope and the green, there’s a lot of walking. In our group we had a 90 year old, two 70+ year olds and me with a knee replacement, I had over 7,000 steps. But that course was worth every single step
Challenging
Duran is a very challenging course, especially in the back nine; when it’s windy, the difficulty increases. However, it’s a pleasure to play and definitely would highly recommend playing Duran.
Wait on Every Shot
The course was in great shape but the pace of play was terrible. We were a threesome and it took over 4.5 hours.
poor management
To cruse was in good shape the greens are good and fast the play was so so you could have played two rounds it the time it took to play one (53/4 hr) I will never go back .
Duran
Duran is a lovely course staffed with very friendly and competent people. It is obvious the staff both in the clubhouse and on the grounds have been well trained in customer service. However, today I was very disappointed that our first nine holes were extremely slow. We waited at least 10 minutes each hole to tee off.
They did however send a staff member around to explain to us that there was a tournament in front of us and that our back nine holes would be faster. That was very true, they were faster.
Despite the pace of play on the first nine holes,
It was very obvious they were attempting to take care of a problem and not ignore it.
I would recommend this golf course to anyone. We have been here for charity tournaments and have seen the course run inside and out. I would say overall it is a top-notch country club.

Very nice looking course great value the drive from Orlando was an hour the greens are fast but very fair will play it agai
