Brentwood Golf Club NO GO!
Staff was rude, course was ok but bunkers were gravel pits. Would never come back
This course needs work
Soggy conditions. Fairways are a mess and the water and bunkers need some TLC. But it’s the closest public golf course to my house so I play here often.

Horrible…
I come to this course once every two weeks expecting the course to get better but today was the last straw. They didn’t tell us that they were doing construction most of the front nine. The greens were either dried up spotted or not cut enough. There were holes that they were major issues in the fairways where my ball got stuck. One of the holes had a front loader truck in the middle of the fairway, so you had to drive over it to have a second shot. And finally your gps carts suck, there were times that the cart would lock after the enter signs This will be the last time I visit here. This course is an embarrassment at the least

Swampy and cart restrictions
Went out here to see if anything improved… no the course is completely over watered and like a swamp. Greens are slow and some have sand all over them. The carts have a terrible gps system and the numbers are off, to add to the carts it won’t let you drive I. Certain areas which you should be able to drive to, the cart will just go dead on you!! So if you want to play in a over watered course with mud on your ball in the middle of summer this is the place for you!!!!!

Absolutely garbage track
This place has gone way down hill. You wouldn't think we are in a drought because every hole was a swamp in the fairways. The greens were terrible and I stabbed my finger when taking my ball out of the cup. This stupid black plastic thing sticking up on the bottom of the pin. Blood leaking under my fingernail. I called to ask if there was a cart person and the guy at the pro shop had no clue. She finally arrived on the 16th hole and it was over 100 degrees out. We had a 945 tee time and no starter on the 1st hole and we went out at 10am with a different group. I felt like I got ripped off to pay $59 to place this embarrassing golf course.

Never again!!
I arrived 10 minutes early. I had my mask on. I was dressed appropriately. I kindly asked to have a cart for 9 holes, and asked to be joined with another non-foursome to keep the pace going. Apparently their policy is to give cart preference to 18-hole players and said if I want to play, I'd have to walk. I've golfed in 30 countries (retired Navy) outside the US, and never heard of this policy. When I asked what the upcharge was for 1 player at 18 holes and a cart, the guy behind the counter said I would have to wait 90 minutes because I didnt reserve a tee time for 18 holes. Long story short(er), I left and canceled my tee time. I will never go there again, and not recommend this course to anyone I talk to.
I can see that you want to maximize your course to the almighty dollar, but this is pathetic. Never again!!

Please mow your fairways.
The course condition is pretty poor with patchy grass, but what makes it even worse is the lack of mowing. It appears it isn't mowed regularly, and when it is mown there are huge clumps of dead grass everywhere. It's ironic when the signs ask you to replace divots and repair ball marks when the establishment doesn't take care of the basic maintenance required. The course has a lot of potential with the layout. The golf cart was in very bad condition as well - very loose steering.
But - it was only $42 for 3 of us to play in less than 4 hours.

Diablo 9 hole
The Diablo 9 hole course conditions weren’t vary good . Sprinklers going off during play (245 in afternoon) The grass was patchy and in some spots it felt like ocean kelp which was disappointing because the 18 hole is in a lot better condition (I play that about 2x per week) and was expecting same conditions and landscaping .

Poor Conditions
Course was in poor shape. Fairway and rough about the same condition. Very slow place, 5 hours! Will not return.

Missing opportunity
Course wasn't in its best shape, couple months ago it was looking great. Lots of large tall weeds in fairways and a bunch of mud area in fairways that was all chewed up and unplayable. Need to get the on course bathrooms finished and NEED daily maintenance, brand new interior bathroom has bird poop everywhere. Last thing, need a better beverage cart that has large coolers not just little coolers with limited options.

Bad shape extremely overpriced for condition.
The coarse is in horrible shape. The fairways are nothing but weeds and mud patches. There’s no sand in bunkers the greens are patchy. This is by far the worst coarse I’ve ever played on. Price is way too much there charging at least triple what they should. I’ll be very surprised if there open another year which is sad because I live in Brentwood and this is the last coarse open. NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT.

The course is in very poor condition. That coupled with inaccessibility for carts made me decide to not return. Unless there were improvements
