Brentwood Golf Club - Hillside/Diablo Course

My third visit in 3 months and the greens are not back to normal playing conditions

Challenging course with water hazards and few wide fairways especial,#1 par 5

needed to share cart with someone whom I met first time. Not good

The course is struggled with the greens due to some maintenance issues, but they seem to be on the way back and doing very very well so I recommend this is a good time to start playing this course if you've held back

The greens were much improved, I can see they are trying the best to repair the damage greens.

Greens a little rough course is what it is bunkers need work

Greens were in bad shape -- too many types of grass with holes and bumps. Tee to green, the course is in good shape, but when you get to the greens, keep your chis close to the pin.

Green were not in any condition for putts. I believe they are starting to get better. Maybe another month if you want decent greens to putt on.

I started golf playing on this course. The greens are terrible. It’s gonna take at least a month for them to come back. That’s the only complaint and no cart person but other than that the course is normally excellent. It’s just sad that the greens were damaged.

Bad Greens, lots of Pits and holes, nothing to do with Ball Marks just bad Green landscaping.

Just need of maintenance. The greens have been completely destroyed with crab grass, growing so many of the greens. The pins appear to be in need of a desperate haircut and trim, there is no bunker that you can legitimately use to pitch out of. It’s nice that they offer you a free round coupon after three rounds but it’s truly not worth the price of admission. The courtesy soda and water is a nice touch but the conditions are complete distraction.

Course is a joke there aren’t even any greens just dirt and dead grass with piles of sand

It's about two years since I played this course.what a difference. The 9 hole has been closed and section used as driving range: its a jungle: wild and un mowed.

The course should be closed until they had repaired all the greens which have been destroyed by fungus or pesticide.Unmown and impossible to put.

Attitude in the pro shop matches the course conditions

I’ve been playing here since it opened- worst greens and landscaping of any course I have ever played if I didn’t get the hot deal on GolfNow I would of been very upset - I’m not even upset or mad just very sad sad sad at the big drop of it so far down - of a once excellent course

The greens were unplayable with the exception of 2 holes.

One of the groundskeepers put too much fertilizer on all the greens and destroyed them. (burned them) They were unputtable. It will probably take a year to restore them.
