About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business in Jun 2018.
Located in Lehigh Acres, Mirror Lakes Golf Club originally opened in 1958 as part of Admiral Lehigh Resort. It's one of the area's oldest courses. The club was re-founded in 1970 and got a new name and look. From the back tees, the golf course stretches to just over 7,200 yards for a par of 73. It's more difficult than the original design but it's also more fun. The course is long and mostly wide-open. Overall, it's player friendly enough for players of any skill level. Despite what its name would imply, sand comes into play more than water. The 11th is Mirror Lakes Golf Club's signature hole. This unique par 6 features a heavy smattering of out-of-bounds and bunkers along both sides of the fairway as well as a heavily guarded green. From the back tees, the hole will challenge even the best golfers.

Don't forget to say hello to "wild Bill" the starter!! Photo submitted by Robyn6520962 on 10/14/2012
Would only recommend as a hot deal. Would not pay course fee
The course needed a .lot of attention (tee boxes very rough) Pace of play was dreadful. As a two ball (letting players through does not happen in Florida) Had we not joined the two ball behind and made a four ball we may well have come off the course.
very long, wrtihing fairways, bunkers abound, guarded greens ... excellent
course plays ~ 6,700 yards from whites, there's a 700+ yard par 6, a 225 yard par 3, bunkers everywhere, some water, seriously guarded greens ... it's enough to make a hacker weep ... super experience
Length and layout of course very good.
To many fire ants around greens and course itself. I was surprised by this.
Greens were not consistent. Water grass or weeds growing on the greens.
Sand traps were awful. Need some new sand dumped in. Hard packed.
Clubhouse good, layout good, distance good, staff and connivance great.
Good for beginners
I played with my wife who is renewing her interest in the game.
The course is what it is, a lower cost place to play that is fairly easy. The greens are OK little slow, the staff is extremely friendly.
the layout is a little confusing but it is marked.
Not worth the ride
Course was just okay for the money paid but definitely not worth the ride (40 min).
The course provided an enjoyable experience for us.
Course was quiet. Although fairways were not in great condition they were OK and had variety hole to hole. Greens were in fair condition.
Sorry to play this course
Course needs work ESPECIALLY the traps and the attitude of the other golfers. Played by myself for the first time on the course, with that said, NO direction for the hole layout on the scorecard and the hole placards where NO help. The couple in front of me where slow !! Their 3/4 shots where my approximate drive would be and they refused to let me play thru, eventhough I eventually was standing on the tee with my arms raised. Ya, I know they didn't see me, right ?? NO way they would actually turn around and look at me often, from their first tee shot all the way to the green. Could have played this course by myself in three hours even not knowing the layout.
Don´t wast money for this cow lot
This was one of the worst experiences we ever had. This golf course has fairways that seems to be never maintained!
Horrible shape where ever you look.
The bunkers are hard surfaced, filled with old dirty sand, some of them look like they only removed the grass surface and ready is the bunker.
Golf carts are also in bad shape and sometimes it takes 5 pushes to restart them.
This is a golf course for anybody recommended who wants to ride on a horse rather than a golf carts and maybe after that the fairways look better then before!
in bad shape
The course needs some TLC. On the 5th tee box, which is a par 3, the tee box is pretty much all sand and dirt. Making it difficult obviously to hit the ball clean. A lot of the greens were dry and in rough shape. Its a cheap course, but still not worth the money, plenty of other nice courses in the area.
Course needs attention
Most greens were in excellent condition but sand traps were terrible. Need sand and grooming. Fairways need attention as weeds have overtaken them. It could be a fun course if maintained.
The course is good condition for this time of year.
The course needs a little attention to some of the greens and sand traps. The value is a great deal for a course that is in good condition. Pace of play was 3hrs and 15 minutes.
Decent course at a discount
Mirror lakes is a good layout that needs some attention after several weeks of everyday heavy rain. Most holes could use a visit from a mower,, however the greens were maintained and in good shape. The fairways and rough needed mowing, of course all the rain in this part of the world this time of year probably has something to do with that and they were mowing away from us on another part of the course while we were playing. For the discounted rates we payed, the course was just fine.
Good place to practice
Well the day I went to play they only had the back 9 open. It was a nice place to practice some shots, but the course needed attention throughout. I always enjoy playing at different courses and this was no different. I would reccomend just coming here fore a fun round. It did storm while starting the 2nd 9 so I got a 9 hole raincheck and I thought that was nice.
the course was only open for back 9 so 2x 9 = 18 played
The course was in very bad condition, my filling is there not have the staff to give the couse a proper treatment
Great for my Wife
Course was in decent shape. Sand in the traps, fairways mowed, tee boxes in decent shape. The greens were slow, looked as if the had recently plugged them. Overall for the price the course is a great deal, many options for tee boxes. My wife loved it, closer tees made it enjoyable for her. I would recommend to anyone looking for a round for a decent price.
Good Course for Price
Can't beat price! Course is decent, outside of the fairway there is not much "good" rough. Greens are overall well maintained. If you are looking to play Augusta this isn't the course for you. But if you are looking for a good/fun round for a great price this is a good choice.
Goot value in May
The maintenance is ok except that the greens could be faster. This is a good golf with a real friendly staff. In May, you play more or less alone on the course on a Sunday moring.
All holes are different, and some relative long.
Really Nice Layout with Challenging Par 6 707 Yard Hole!
This is a very pleasant playable course with a very friendly & accommodating staff. It has some beautiful holes set in a natural setting especially the 10th. There are wildflowers on some of the holes that my wife noticed immediately with pleasure. The Par 6 707 yard #11 Challenger Hole (which can be played forward as a par 5) is unique, fun & the first par 6 that I ever played. The proshop & restaurant are more than adequate with a very helpful & friendly staff. It's a bit of a ride & the conditions are not pristine, but the layout & natural surroundings make it worth a trip. My wife & I really enjoyed it.
Advantage to the Senior Players
Have played this course often over the years. It's the longest around and quite difficult. However, new sets of tees, including the not-so-long senior tees has made the course acceptable to the not-so-long hitters. The fairways and greens were in great condition at this, the beginning of the rainy season. Overall, a great buy!
