Mirror Lakes Golf Club

The course personnel put another threesome off in front of us, on our Tee time. We were a foursome but we were playing best ball so had to wait to make every shot. The threesome couldn't hit the ball more than 50 yards. it was a very unpleasant experience and we probably won't go back to that course.

Good course. Wide fairways. A lot of tee-box options to hit from although they need some work on the Tee boxes. Overall , we enloyed the course. Challenging.

We booked a tee time for 1:38. There were 4 foursomes on the tee waiting to go. That's what we faced at tees 1 through 5. The people in charge of booking groups are obviously incompetent. My friends and I will not return to this course. Pro shop office management does not match the potential of this course. We barely finished hole 18 at dusk. There is no excuse for such overbooking.

It was an average course without a lot of water for being in Florida

Play was very slow and golf course conditions were not ideal. Greens were quite bumpy and slow --could have been because I golfed late in the day.

OK for golf now but not worth full price

I enjoyed Mirror Lakes, mostly wide open fairways, well maintained and reasonably priced. Would definitely play again. I did not play the par 6 hole - 700 yards!

Enjoyed the course especially the back nine. The front nine it was difficult to know what the next green would be slow,fast,or normal. Having said that we were a 4 ball that really enjoyed the experience

Over all, the course was a good experience. The greens were in good shape and putted pretty true. Fairways were in average condition.

Nice course, well maintained,staff very friendly, pace was a little slow,but enjoyed the round. Good value for the price. Would reccomed for all level of players.

Shoddy tees with long grass and slow, patchy greens let the course down. A great layout, but needs attention. At least you can try for a birdie FIVE on the 707 yard par SIX.

Great Place. Super maintenance condition. With its length should, on the Driver have in the bag. Nice combination of water and bunkers, but not all created public.

It all starts at the bag drop and the attendant was excellent with service and info. While the clubhouse is small and the pro shop not well stocked the staff was friendly. You have to buy a small bucket of balls for $5 and the practice range is small, poorly laid out and in need of some tlc. The starter was friendly but start times don't seem to be a priority as we teed off 20 minutes after our assigned tee time. I would give the course conditions a 7 but the cart paths a 3. The pace of play was decent and we finished in 4 1/2 hrs. The course has a lot of potential and could be a good challenge from the back tees. The on course washroom facilities are scarce and poorly maintained.

Will play again had a great time, had some challeneing holes

This is the second time my wife and I have played this course. We really enjoy playing here. On the last day we played the pace of play was very, very slow on the front nine. At one point there were 4 groups on one par 3. We never saw a course ranger all day but I think one of the groups in front of us either quite or jumped over to the back nine because it did get better as the day wore on.

Mirror Lakes is a country course that has been trying to improve after a recent change in ownership. The greens are slow due to reseeding a few months age and are not yet reading for close mowing. Fairways are rough with native grasses and sand mixed with fairway turf. Staff is friendly. Carts are well used. Pricing is high for the shape the course is in and its location. It appears that the new owners are not yet willing or able to put the funds into the course that is required to get it up to its full potential.

Course was in terrific shape and fun to play ! Good time for the entire foursome !

The fairways and greens are in wonderful shape. Play was challenging and enjoyable.

This was the second time I have played this course. Friendly staff, played from senior tees and still found course challenging. Look forward to playing again.

Very nice layout, set back inland from the pricier Southwest Florida courses. Staff very friendly, and neighbourly feel to the small clubhouse. Cour
se well maintained. Good value and fun to play.
