About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business in Jun 2018.
Located in Lehigh Acres, Mirror Lakes Golf Club originally opened in 1958 as part of Admiral Lehigh Resort. It's one of the area's oldest courses. The club was re-founded in 1970 and got a new name and look. From the back tees, the golf course stretches to just over 7,200 yards for a par of 73. It's more difficult than the original design but it's also more fun. The course is long and mostly wide-open. Overall, it's player friendly enough for players of any skill level. Despite what its name would imply, sand comes into play more than water. The 11th is Mirror Lakes Golf Club's signature hole. This unique par 6 features a heavy smattering of out-of-bounds and bunkers along both sides of the fairway as well as a heavily guarded green. From the back tees, the hole will challenge even the best golfers.

Don't forget to say hello to "wild Bill" the starter!! Photo submitted by Robyn6520962 on 10/14/2012
Jammed with players.
first and last time there, tee time was 30 minutes later than was booked, they had a group of 8 foursomes ahead of us,
We quit after 11 holes, waiting at least 10 minutes at every hole.
Pay a bit more and enjoy your day elsewhere !!!
Interesting layout-
I'v played here before and enjoyed it. A bit slow play but somewhat expected this time of year. Course is in very nice condition. Good layout with very friendly staff. We''ll go back for sure.
Course in good condition - fun to play - staff good
Interesting course with water and sand hazards. Will play it again.
Wide open, long sunny course
Mirror Lakes is out in the country and has wide open fairways. It has some seriously long holes (including a 707 yarder!) so bring that driver. For modest golfers the fairways are wide enough to keep your ball in play on almost all holes.
There is a lot of wildlife on the course, including the two alligators we saw. There aren't too may trees on the course so you will get some serious sun here. The course provides free ice at the clubhouse and water at various spots on the course, which is great.
It is a long course, even from the middle (green) tees, so be prepared for lots of hitting. The signage on the course isn't great, but it is a very good course for its reasonable price.
This is a great course for the price.
The course was a real challange and had a tee box for everybody. The only thing the course needed was some new sand in the traps. It was a great course for the price.
Varied holes, challenging and in great condition compared to others. Alligators came as a bonus!
I really enjoyed this course. Fairways best I have played on in ages and every hole different and left you looking forward to next challenge. No stupid holes.
Found alligators and other wildlife added to the interesting layout. Unlike other local courses surrounded by identical homes and play dictated by the neighbourhood layout this course felt free to roam in a lovely almost park-like setting.
Do NOT be put off by the Lehigh acres address or even the drive there, which doesn't take you through the nicest neighbourhoods. Within a short distance to the entrance it all changes and even more so once you arrive on the first tee.
Enjoy!
Pleasantly Surprised
The greens had been over sanded but they still putted well and the surfaces were on the whole pretty good. Played from white tees course was very playable. Par 3s are challenging. Par 5s give you a chance to score. Lots of wildlife on the course too including gators and lots of birds. The course was fun to play and we will be playing it again.
fairways and greens are in very good condition.
Enjoyable to play. Pace of play was good. Watch out for fire ants.
Nice, long and cheap. Pretty good looking, too
Good layout, long enough, good hole layout and tee box options for all types. Pretty pleased with the course and price. I'd play there again.
Nice course but nicer courses are available at about the same cost.
Found the course to be open and golfer friendly for the errant shot. A little difficult to get to if you unfamiliar with the area.
Not a lot of trouble for the average golfer. No challenge for the 12 or better handicap player. Some traps need work. At $70 I found it somewhat overpriced and the course was not busy and that may be because of the price/challenge relationship. I would play it again but only if it were in the $50 range.
Good time with friends...
If you're expecting amazing landscapes and condition, you'll probably be disappointed. But for it's a good choice just to have good time and enjoy your favorite sport.
Way better than a day at the office !
Needs some attention. Quick pace of play, friendly staff, good value for the price.
Interesting course but needs a little tlc. Par threes are very long and challenging. Front 9 par fours are kind of blah but the back nine presents a more interesting layout. Cheap rates for a weekend so overall good value.
Go, go, go but don't take it lightly
Friendly, quiet, new arrival of 24 electric carts forthcoming.
Your own house or a vacation rental on the course would be the best, playing there is definitely second best.
great value during the winter - exceeded expectations!!!
The greens and fairways were in good shape. I was expecting worse considering the leighigh location. Pleasantly surprised! You can definately tell the course is heading in the right direction and that someone is pouring money into the course.
The course isn't beautiful and everything outside of the greens and fairways could use a great deal of work. That being said for the money I was very pleased.
If you are hear in the summer I would recommend playing a different course because you can get such a great deal during the summer months.
Cart paths were bumpy, driving range was ok at best, food was medicore, drinks were reasonable, staff was friendly, golf was great for the price!
Cheap and it looks like it.
This course is in rough shape. I could forgive the sparse fairways and spotty rough, but the greens are close to unputtable. They desperately need to be verti-cut and rolled. And to make matters worse, the scorecard on the cart was completely wrong! Like it was from a different course. Thankfully, there were signs on each tee that seemed to be fairly accurate.
A very well maintained course. I'd recommend playing this course. It's good a mix of water and bunkers. Fun course to play.
Very nice course. I liked the area it was located in too and the houses around the course. Very well maintained and fun to play. Nice clubhouse and friendly staff.
this course is great for the adverage golfer
mirror lakes is a long course but has 6 tee boxes to choose your yardage to fit your game
friendly course for all types of players
Petrol carts smelly and bumpy.
greens under reseed so too high
rest of course fine
Always enjoy playing here and now still empty
Great value!
The price was fantastic. This course is fun! Cart paths are a little rough. The putting greens are good. Course is wide open, good driving distances, with some water hazards.
This review mentions the score card did not match the course. that is most likely because the score card has Mirror Lakes on one side. And the sister course, Lehigh Resort, on the other.
I presume he never noticed...and played off Lehigh.
