Bunkers
The bunkers shouldn’t have standing water in the middle of July.
Recommend this course
Greens were is excellent condition. Please repair your divots!! Fairways were cut well and in good shape. Please fill in your fairway divots. The golf club is doing all it can to maintain this course. Players, please respect the course and fill in your holes.

This course was great today. The tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in great condition. The greens were receptive and balls rolled true. If I’ve any complain it is regarding bunkers. The bunkers were a bit wet and muddy
GOD COURSE - GREAT VALUE
Empire Ranch is a local 'go to' course. We play most of the local Sacramento courses and find Empire to be a better value for well conditioned fair playing layout than many other local courses.. The staff are very helpful and pace of play is consistently good.
This course was in great shape and definitely worth the price
Empire Ranch was in great shape when we played. Additionally, the rate was better than any other course in the area. We were able to play quickly and have fun.
Impressed with Course Conditions
Empire Ranch was in great shape! The greens were beautiful but played a little softer and slower than most other courses in the area. Everything else was really good. Played in under 4 hours which was a miracle as well! Great experience.
Bad Time
Golf NOW gave me a time that did not exist and my time was accepted by GOLF NOW and cancelled by the course. and I was charged $3 for this. Please return my $$&.
Everything was good but the price of drinks on the cart was excessive (a 99cent Az Iced Tea and a water was $10.50)
Greens are in great shape
Greens are growing in quite nicely after punching a while ago. Playing a little slower than normal but will probably get faster as the greens finish recovering.
Great day to play!
Got our early and beat the crowds. Greens are in great condition, but people really need to fix their pitch marks. I had to repair at least 2 to 3 on each green.
Amazing Day of Golf
The weather was perfect (low 70's) with only a slight breeze. The fairways and green were in fantastic condition. The guys at the check-in desk were cordial and efficient. My round of golf was not that great, but that's on me, not the course! I'd play ER again in a heartbeat.
