If you’re into playing a 4hr 20 min round (round time par is 4:15 per score card) while being heckled, stalked, and pressured by the “Marshall” for the final 5 holes, then this is your course. It was 101 degrees for a 3:50 tee time, we finished in roughly 4 hours and 20 mins and all shot around bogey golf. the “Marshall” prowled behind my foursome (3 carts - 1 walking) for the final portion of our round. He yelled and spoke to us while on the tee during our pre shot routine for a hole as if he had never been on a course before. he even approached us at our vehicles in the parking lot while in his own personal car to finish his belligerent insults as he rushed home. He made comments from his vehicle and even backed up when we responded, in an intimidating and juvenile manner. Basically, in my 25+ years of golfing, this was the worst experience by a long shot. Sunset was around 8:30 pm, we finished well before that. Absolute joke of an experience

Called the GM/Manager, no apology, was told there are two sides to the story, and no offer of a discounted round to make it up to me and my group. "looks like we wont be seeing you around here"

great course to play and get to know. only 2nd or 3rd time playing and just not familiar enough to know and play the course with a few blind/dogleg's etc. need to try and play more often.

We teed off at 3:10PM, had to wait for carts as none were available when we arrived. Started raining as we approached 9th hole and was getting quite cold. We decided not to push it with all the Covid-19 stuff going on (didn't want to get sick) and stopped after 9 holes. I requested a rain check for remaining 9 holes and staff said "no-go". In my opinion, very poor attitude and customer service. Lots of choices to play golf and won't select Empire Ranch again.

Course was in OK shape - Used to be a nice track with good service - unfortunately it’s gone downhill drastically. Lost liquor license? Can’t get a beer at the turn or after round?? No beverage cart. Not worth $70 w/ rude staff to boot.

Staff complained about Golf now somehow setting up tee times when they should of been blocked. Not very professional. Would rather they deal with Golf Now personally. Don’t want to hear about it before a rd.

Course is in great condition right now. Greens are smooth fairways are playing nicely. Maybe the best shape I’ve seen the course in a long time.

Course has always been an excellent value for a great course. They only get better with excellent course management and great value. Staff are exceptional in offering customer service. Have been playing this course as a home course for last 15 years and it only gets better and better

Empire ranch was available to our twosome at the last minute. We had a tee time booked last week early for River Oaks in Nicklaus. But last minute golf now cancels that time as river oaks decides they were closing mon-tues. even after we had paid for the mon time.

This is the 3rd cancelled tee time thru golf now that left us scrambling to find other arrangements and at a much more expensive charge.

So maybe when all this shelter crap stops golf now will be reliable again.

Empire nice course but 50 bucks versus 27 for River Oaks affects retired players.

First time playing here. 75 miles from home and well worth the trip. Fair test of golf. Course was in fantastic shape, extremely lush for this time of year. Greens were in perfect shape and medium fast.

It was a rain off and on again day. The course is in great shape regardless of the weather greens are rolling pretty quick.

The fairways are smooth and rolling nicely. You’ll get an extra 20 yards off the tee with a good drive.

Great course.. You can practice all the shots you'll need.. Great condition year round
