Empire Ranch Golf Club

This is a nice course. Has a little bit of everything, water, traps and forced carries. Requires that you hit it straight most of the time. Greens were in great shape, traps were actually pretty good, best I have seen in a while. Fairways were in pretty good shape, they were over watering today, don't know why. Overall the course was in pretty good shape. I will play it again.

Excellent day on the course. Like the COVID procedures. Able to get off early. Finished in under 4 hours. Greens, fairways and most T-Boxes in excellent shape, particularly for this time of year and out hot spell.

Bin playing courses down here in Martinez. Its unbelievable when they can actually water a course. More green than I have seen in a long time. Very challenging as well. Great Fun......

Typical Empire Ranch pace. 5:20 pace today. 3 group back up starting on hole 5. I like the course overall, but gets backed up often.

Great public course, pace of play is solid, marshall is on it, greens in good shape and solid fairways. They do not sell booze in the clubhouse

New management company is allowing dry areas on fairways to evolve. . . New white #7 TEE BOX IS DEAD GRASS now.. Time to reduce geese population so seek assistance from Fish and Game Dept. Course is in good shape otherwise.

Great shape, finshed as a foursome in less than 4 hours. Had lunch before the round and the grill is great.

If you’re into playing a 4hr 20 min round (round time par is 4:15 per score card) while being heckled, stalked, and pressured by the “Marshall” for the final 5 holes, then this is your course. It was 101 degrees for a 3:50 tee time, we finished in roughly 4 hours and 20 mins and all shot around bogey golf. the “Marshall” prowled behind my foursome (3 carts - 1 walking) for the final portion of our round. He yelled and spoke to us while on the tee during our pre shot routine for a hole as if he had never been on a course before. he even approached us at our vehicles in the parking lot while in his own personal car to finish his belligerent insults as he rushed home. He made comments from his vehicle and even backed up when we responded, in an intimidating and juvenile manner. Basically, in my 25+ years of golfing, this was the worst experience by a long shot. Sunset was around 8:30 pm, we finished well before that. Absolute joke of an experience

Called the GM/Manager, no apology, was told there are two sides to the story, and no offer of a discounted round to make it up to me and my group. "looks like we wont be seeing you around here"
