My sone and I completed 9 holes in 1 hour 20 minutes

This is a really fun little course that’s completely worth 10-20 bucks. Greens are also getting a little better every time I’ve played. Elizabeth at the front desk is really nice and the rest of be staff has always been cool.

I'm very much so a beginner, and I feel welcomed every time I walk the 9 holes here. A couple bigger groups offered that I play thru them today, and pace of play was great. First couple holes, the greens are a bit rough, but they get progressively better in the later holes. I'll be back for sure!! A great place for beginners to get some practice in for not a lot of money, and not a lot of time.

For the money is is a great course for practice. Fairways are tight forcing accurate tee shots. But the greens always seem to simply suck. I can usually get a large bucket and walk the course for about $25 and that is unbeatable and makes up for the course conditions.

I try to avoid writing negative reviews but this course is just awful. Pretty much unplayable. The greens are either dirt or rough. When arriving one of the workers pointed out one of our outfits saying any other course wouldn’t allow what he was wearing… but the two groups ahead of us were golfing in jeans. Of course we would dress up if the course wasn’t a dirt track, the comments were unnecessary. It was walking only and we were kicking around mud all day. The push carts were all broken so our bags kept falling. The groups ahead of us seemed to not be enjoying there time as well. I used my promo for this and it still feels like a waste.

Not in good condition right now- but it's more due to some major work being done on the course right now and is usually kept up better. But since I only paid $9.50 for the round including fees what do I care. I go here often and the staff is friendly and helpful if you need anything. Good range with shade for when it's hot, very reasonable prices on buckets. The bar owner Dave makes sure the service is good there. I don't drink but the food's good. Good cheap fun with friends and working on your game.

I played this course once before and even then the conditions weren’t great and the layout was kind of weird but it was acceptable enough to feel like I didn’t get ripped off.

This time was Horrific. The greens were a mix of sand and bumpy patches of “grass” they shortened almost every whole to a straight up pitching wedge par 3, no obstacles. But, all of that wasn’t even the worst of it, they had holes 7,8 closed down which are easily the two best holes on the course and could actually be considered par 4s.

Come if you wanna have a few beers and hit the range but I do not recommend the course

Worst 9 hole I've ever played. Poorly maintained if you even want to call it maintained. They probably cut the grass every other month cause I've seen fairway grass shorter than those greens. Divets all over the green. The rough is up to your calves. Will never play here again. Complete trash.

This is a great course to work on your short game. The course is well run. The staff is friendly and professional. Please go out and support the Van Buren Golf Center to ensure that they stay around for a long time!

Course is a fun spot to work on your iron game. You can walk it relatively fast if you only have a couple hours of time to get a quick round in. The rough is usually veryy tall so if you have issues hitting tight fairways you’re going to be loosing some balls. Conditions definitely seems better than the last time I played here about a month and a half prior. Bar is a cool spot to hang out after or before a round

Course is excellent for the price. Tee boxes could be better but overall course is fun and worth it

This place is my go-to "I wanna play a few holes course". It's a pretty good deal if you are newer to golf and want a bit of practice. Its also nice if you can get a little alone time, because it's not super busy. However the course conditions aren't great. There's lots of mud and in the summer it's so dry, the fairway is basically dirt. I've never really had trouble with the staff, but at the same time they aren't the friendliest
