pleasant golfing under perfect weather
This is a 9-hole course and we played two rounds, total 18 holes. The tee box is different between rounds. Check-in was easy and staffs were very friendly. Our time tee was at 1pm but they allowed us to start earlier so that we could finish playing before dark. No many people played on that day although the weather was perfect. The bunkers were not well maintained. Sand and dirt were mixed. The green was too soft comparing to other courses.
Cloudy day
Greens were damp, bumpy, and slow. but in very good condition. It was a cloudy overcast day but no wind. Staff very friendly and good customer service oriented. We recommend the golf course.
Nov 2, 2021 18 holes
Greens were in very good condition in spite of rain previous day. Maintenance crew working hard on drainage. Scott at office provides very good customer service and friendly.
Nice little 9hole course
Wild wings is a very nice, well kept 9 hole course. Can’t beat the price for this place. Pace a play is really slow due to no Marshall. A lot of beginners tend to play here. There is no driving range, only nets. Greens were kept real nice. Staff is very friendly. No beverage cart. If I lived closer I would frequent this place to practice.
Wildwings gc is the place
First time played since change of having 2 sets of tee boxes instead of 2 flags on the greens. I prefer having 2 sets of tee boxes and 1 flag. Greens were slow and needed to be cut. Too many animal droppings on tee boxes and greens, otherwise a great course for practice round. Great value and all around good round.
Really wet course
I’ve played this course twice now, and while it is a good value with nice wide fairways, they seem to keep the course very wet. Water was spinning off my ball on putts and it makes putts very hard to read.
Today the pace of play was horrid because of a couple groups of slow players. It almost get like the course was overbooked.
All in all, I still think it’s a fun course to play and I’ll definitely play here again. Especially for the money. Good value.
Didn’t indicate punched greens
Whole course under repair. Single staff member. Slow teams all day.
We would like to thank you for your feed back and understand that the feel of the course looked to be under repair. Please bear with us as we have gone through a few management changes and had just aerified the greens the week prior to you playing at our course. We have made several changes in pace of play and staffing and would like to see you out again soon.
Greens
The greens had recently been plugged and sanded. Because of that they were not as good as they normally are. In a couple more weeks they should be back to the best greens around.
Aeration
As usual we enjoyed our golf at Wild Wings. Staff is great. The only thing we didn’t like about the course today was the greens were aerated I would say in the last few days. Made it difficult to put with plugs on the greens & holes. We weren’t told it was aerated and felt it was over priced today because of the aeration. If it was healed, wouldn’t mind paying the rate today. Otherwise will definitely return to this course and always recommend to our friends & family.
Terrible, why weren’t we told the greens were punched and sanded? And they left the plugs. The fairways were dry and rough was very tall. Looks like nobody has taken care of this place for months. What happened, this used to be a great place, now I won’t be back.

I see that you played a few days after aerification and i do apologize that this was not relayed to you by our staff. we would like to have you out again soon as we have made improvements and are working to maintain a great course even with the effects of the drought.
We are very sorry to hear that you were unaware that the course had just gone under aerification 3 days prior. I know that during this time we did offer a discounted rate but even with out clear communication it is frustrating . we would like to have you back s the course has healed and the rest of the course is coming along greatly as we get through this drought we are in.
