South Bay’s Golf Mecca
With pretty much nothing else around it, as you drive into the parking lot, it was nothing but golfers playing or practicing or just hanging out. We got thru the pro shop, got our carts, checked in with the starter and teed off rather seamlessly. Well since there are so many golfers here, the course is a little beat up. More the normal ball marks, unraked bunkers, and fairways are divot city. My ball off the putter to the hole had quite the bumpy adventure on every green. With all that said, the value was great. I paid $37 on a Wednesday @ 2:35pm. The layout with the elevation changes and the multi tier greens was a fair test for any golfer. Can’t ask for much more from a round of golf @ a discount. I recommend this place to anyone and I will be back.
Rude Marshal
I made a mistake of parking the cart short of the cart path on the back side of hole 8. There are no signs to not take the carts in the area . Marshal came by and starting to threaten to take my cart and make me walk despite my apologies to start with the conversation. He was welcome to take my cart and ask me to walk if that is a policy of the golf course but he had no business to talk to me rudely . This was an innocent mistake and I admitted politely and apologized as a gentleman should have done.
He slighted me infront of 3 other golfers, which is totally uncalled for.
Great if carts are available
I've played this course a bunch over the years, and the renovation a few years ago really made it much better.
I do not really like walking this course because it is long AND very spread out between many holes.
IF you can get a cart you not only save a lot of miles, but you get a great GPS system as well.
Nice driving range, on course food and beverage PLUS a nice restaurant and bar in the clubhouse.
Good day with the boys
Early out is alway key on the normally breezy course.
Course of Fun And Game
Coyote Creek Valley golf course will entertain and challenge your game. It offers the challenge the five and up handicapper will enjoy -- enough difficulty and testing of your shot making ability. Par threes range from apx. 120 yards and up, while a few par fours are over 400 yards, the player needs only to indulge himself by his tee selection. The course is very walkable without concern for elevation change, except for a few ackwardly placed tee boxes to allow for a normal start to finish endgame. No need to worry about penalty areas, creek, sand, OB or others,
they only there to enhance your enjoyment. Go play!
Don’t walk it or you will get lost!
It seems as if they had trouble laying out the holes to make this course run in a consistent way. Every whole seemed like you had to crossover and back track to get to the next whole. I was looking more at the card to figure out where the next hole was then trying to figure out the yardage for each hole! Just a funky layout
