Sunday morning golf
The course is very flat and easy to walk, which was important because they did not have enough carts for both courses due to Covid which is understandable.
On this day although we teed off at 7:15am the wind was up and never let up all day. It did make several holes very difficult.
The greens were perfect and very fair. We had a lot of fun and never had to wait to hit a shot.
Great Course challenging
Love this place 2 courses to pick from. I carry my bag on the Valley course the other course I would recommend a cart.
I’m not sure if the profile me
I have played here less then a handful of times . I want to like this place but my experience I have had each time is makes it not pleasurable to spend my money !
I feel as a Latino man they treat me differently then “ The Lighter skin”
4times I played here and how they greet and look at me makes me feel so so so uncomfortable!
I have played courses all over California and never so I feel the way I feel when I check in each 4times at coyote creek I hate to Stir the pot but it’s a feeling I have to express to others . I want to hope that it’s just me but my uncle has express the same treatment on his own outings
Wish it was different cuz I enjoy the course once I’m pass the staff and on the tee box but I think I will give my hard earned money to a course that respect my ethnicity
Coyote Creek Valley Course
I'm a little biased but this is one of my favorite courses living the next County over I try to get out here at least three times a year .
It was a very hot day out there today over 90° we walked and they had complimentary bottle of water for throughout the course .
Windy? Yes but...where's my ball?
Like the course and I expect it will be windy in the afternoon. My only issue is the areas off the fairway. Those areas need to be managed better. The tall (or now laid down) brown grass/weeds need to be cleared out. Playing out of these areas isn't the issue, its finding your ball. This slows down play and makes for a dissatisfying round. With the wind, invariably you will find yourself in these areas. So understand if they were better managed it wouldn't make the course easier, just more enjoyable.
Great place to play
Great play to play. Met with some friends and had a great time playing 18 holes on the valley course. Lots of opportunities to hit every club in your bag. Mostly par 4 and 5's with a few par 3's. The only downside was that no carts were available we were told that they had rented all of them, not a big deal but had to walk a lot that day. We will be returning to play again
Need to Improve
When we showed up for our 6:30 tee time there was nobody working the front desk to check us in. They finally showed up at about 6:20 and couldn’t get their system working. And instead of being apologetic about it we were met with a negative attitude.
The course itself was great. Wish the snack shack was open at the turn.
Nice layout but could be better maintained
Nice course with some water on the last few holes. Could be better maintained around the greens.
Valley Course
It was 70 degrees when I started just before 7am. The valley course is no carts so picking up my bag and setting it down and every shot was a minimal bummer, but even with that I was able to finish all 18 in under 4 hours. Everyone. I interacted with was excellent, the course was great. The greens were a nice mix from large and easy to hit to a few more challenging. Overall, I thought it was a bargain for the price and I look forward to playing it again in the near future; I will just need to find a pull cart first.
The course is always well kept.
The course today was packed, as is typical during these Covid-19 days. While waiting 3-4 minutes per shot became customary as the day wore on, the course's beautiful scenery and the power of the early morning energy provided for an excellent day at the golf course.
The greens do run a bit faster than expected, but that's almost always a benefit. There were no carts available for the Valley course.
Great Course
Beautiful course was a great day the staff was great would definitely play it again looking forward to more golf there in the future.
Very bad layout
Bring plenty of balls. Even on good strikes, tall weeds and grass make it very frustrating.
