About
Nestled in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains, Yucaipa Valley Golf Club enjoys a stunning backdrop on most of its holes. The beautifully maintained course is certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Yucaipa Valley offers the unique combination of being both challenging and affordable, for this reason it's a local favorite. The layout is player friendly enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. It's not terribly formidable but the greens can be challenging because of the slope and speed. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and the occasional water hazard comes into play. The 13th is the signature hole at Yucaipa Valley Golf Club. This tricky par 3 has a severely undulating green bordered by out-of-bounds on the right and water on the left.

Nice to play bent grass greens in great shape.
have not seen that many tough pin placements in a long time. Fairways and greens are great. course was fine if you are in the fairway, everything else was unkept and gopher holes. still a good course.
Go play it.
Bathrooms need paint!
Greens excellent Fairways good. Bathrooms...not so much. To spend that much time and money to get the greens in the best shape that I have ever seen them and then trash that positive for a couple gallons of paint for the bathrooms really bewilders mel

Nice course
We've played here many times. There were a few fairways that need some attention. Sections of dead grass. The pace of play was very slow. There were 2 is us. It took almost 2 hours to complete 9 holes. We didn't get to finish. Thought we had plenty of time to finish in 3.5 hours.
Nice cart but disappointed that you took away the screens.
we are having some pump issues at this time, but we are working hard to get it fixed. I hope you give us another chance in the future.
Slow pace of play
I played on a Wednesday afternoon at 3 pm. The pace of play was very slow. On hole 10 or 11 while my group was on the green , a 3 sum decided to play through only to end up waiting at the next hole.
Upon my asking why they decided to play through and now cause more of a backup for my group they became hostile and insulted me in front of my 7 year old son. They surrounded my cart and continued to antagonize me in front of my child. It was very frightening and appalling behavior by these 3 men. I was incredibly concerned that it would have escalated but am very glad it didn’t. I called and made a complaint and described the 3 men to the pro shop.
Beautiful course except ….
I love this course. My only issue is the sand traps. It’s not sand just hard dirt.
A gem
I was deciding where to play around Yamavaa casino and decided on Yucaipa. 6:00 AM time and beat the staff there. No drivng range that early but it was posted… n problem. The course was in excellent shape. The huge greens were high quality. Solid layout. Just a really great choice in the IE at the price range. Will be back. Book it if you can.
Fun public course
Well take care of, especially for the cost. Good layout. Nice carts.
Very family friendly, which can be good and bad. Lots of kids learning and good friendly vibes, but some young players and families don't seem to know/care about etiquette, pace of play, etc.
Like old times.
I grew up in this town and all there was, was old people and orange groves. The plunge, regional park and the good ole’ sports shack. Now if you know what the sport shack was, your an OG of Yucaipa. Anyways I haven’t played this course since it first opened, those trees have grown in. Lol
But yeah love the course and all the staff!! Awesome place!!!!
