Greens are in great shape

The course staff across the board was and is the best part of playing the Foxtail courses. Although they all try mightily, the length of the rounds, lack of group management and really no enforcement by course rangers led to another 5 hour round. As an example, there were three groups of two (versus foursomes) playing ahead of us. Although we tried to join the twosome in front of us, their desire to pretend we didn’t exist worked as we couldn’t get their attention despite driving right up to them. The course Marshall drove by multiple times and really did nothing to encourage paring up, moving along faster or anything else. The Marshalls simply drive by and apologize …. I guess I understand there is not much control they have when the pro shop is accepting multiple groups of two playing by themselves and even a couple 5-somes on a Friday afternoon. All this would be fine for a mini-track like Foxtail if they were charging reasonable rates. Yes, we only played for $120 for two of us but their normal rates are $90+ with cart making it almost a $200 for my wife and I. Recommendation, only play this course if you get some sort of discount t as the required time combined with poor management and a very mediocre course layout is not worth their normal rates.

Staff was helpful from the pro shop to the 1st North tee-box!

I would have loved some company to enjoy the tranquility and over all great setting.
