The Links at Las Palomas Resort Golf Club

Wow, Wow, Wow. A year ago, this place was a dump, but what a difference a year makes. The course was unbelievable. Tee boxes flat as a pancake and green like Augusta. The course was in incredible shape, the greens were probably a 12 on the stimp meter and as smooth as velvet. We had such a great time we made plans for another round the next morning. Marco, the manager, said the course will be even better next year so we are definitely coming back.

Tried to sell me golf shoes that were clearly damaged and worn as new ivsaid I would but if after my wife tried on and they fit They did not fit the girl made it difficult to cancel the order but reluctantly did ?

Fairways are getting much better than last year. Greens are perfect. Slow play - allowed one 6 group and one fivesome. Have seen it often - need to stop this and hire a ranger to monitor slow play.

Played afternoon tee, waited at most tee boxes to continue play

After more than 5 attempts using the Mexican phone #, the 800#, the online website, and an email to the pro shop, I was unsuccessful adding my 2 friends to my tee time. When I arrived there were NO carts. Several people were frustrated that there were no carts to go to the practice range. In addition, the girl in the pro-shop with red hair insisted that the course was solidly booked with a party of 6 in front of us and a foursome behind us. Therefore, our guests were turned away and they drove 30 miles back to Playa Encanto. We never saw a single person in front of us or behind us for the entire 18 holes. I was terribly disappointed for my guest. I live here in Playa Encanto and this was my 1st time to play this course.

Things really need to tightened up before I can recommend this golf course.

Here’s the thing… you’re in RP. Skip the pomp and circumstance-and range for that matter.. hit it until you like it on the first tee (that bunker on the left off the tee is way closer than you think). Bring a half (or full) rack out - they could give a rip. The stick in your group will like the greens. Play the yellow tees and cut loose. Fun course.

Teeboxes and many of the fairways were chewed up for aeration. Wife wanted to ride with me which they charged $30 for. Add ons take the "hot" out of hot deals.

Unfortunately we had to cancel last minute as my husbands back went out. We cancelled too late to get a refund so that was a bit of a bummer.

Good Conditions and Interesting Layout.

Solid value for the money and course was in pretty good condition.

They charge $30.00 for a rider not golfing. Very excessive.

Greens in great shape, fairways are getting better. Met new golf pro and seems really good

The course charges an extra $5.00 per player which I was told is a Mexican tax yet the other golf courses in the area don’t charge it. ????

Back to good conditions after last year! Always fun to play, challenging but also fair.
