Golfer Reviews
Awesome value
Great course conditions, awesome pace (2 hours solo), great staff, was playing up on the greenskeepers all round and they were incredibly accommodating. Wasn’t planning on it but after this round I’m playing again tomorrow. Can’t go wrong with this course, fantastic value.
Las palomas
Nice layout greens were super slow and patchy fairways way too high which makes your ball not roll and loss of distance but overall your in Mexico enjoy the round and sip on the cold beer cart lady was phenomenal super friendly and great Michelada Drink
Run down deplorable conditions.
This golf course could have potential. But it clearly lacks maintenance. The grass is dry in some areas and the areas that are ok they don't trim the grass. Some of the greens have major dry spots. They don't have markers for yardage, no place to clean the balls, the OB sticks are down in some areas. The cart I had run out of electricity and had to wait for a replacement. The one I got the straps did not hold the golf bag and had faulty breaks. Some of the signs are completely rusted. This lack of maintenance can't be as a result of a couple of months of Covid. This is for sure years of neglect and as a result of years of lack of maintenance.
This is a great resort with certainly below average golf course management.
Great golf course, normally a 4 but lacks of maintenace.
I have always enjoyed playing this course. To me is normally a 4 rated course. This last time I played I brought to the attention to one of the employees the lack of maintenance. i.e. No maintenance to the rough area, very much dry spots, everywhere including the greens. Twice my bag fell because bad straps. The poor response from Sami was to start arguing with me and to tell me that the lack of maintenance should not matter if I played well. That he is a handicap 5. An he said that "If i do not like it, go play somewhere else". A bit out of line when the carts and the golf course clearly need attention.
Nice resort course
Friendly staff, great service, easy resort style course, decent value, not busy, What can I say, we’re playing tomorrow.
Great value - Great location
Located on the southwest side of Rocky Point. Truly great value along the Sea of Cortez. Wide array of tee boxes and yardage for “All” skill levels. Perfect amount of sand, water and mounds come into play on most holes. Limited English spoken at the club house, I highly recommend booking your tee-times through GolfNow or brush up on your Spanish. There is a $5.00 tax charge almost all courses in Mexico, although at this course it’s often referred to as “cart fee”. The the down hill but always into breeze par 3 - nineteenth hole.
Cost complaint
I was charged $53 for two players when the course was charging $40 per player. I need a reimbursement

Good golf course for the money
Excellent staff, course was in good shape - not exceptional, but worth the $55 green fee. We have eaten breakfast at the pro shops on previous visits and that was good food,
Everything was great my only complaint would be the golf cart was very dated and the brakes didn’t stop well on the large slopes within the cart path
#4
Smells and looks pretty awful on hole #4. I call it Hoyo de bano. Other than that, all good!
Great Condition
Teed off at 12:15 was done by 3:30. Course is in great shape. Couple of holes had hoses with sprinklers, caught one of my drives. Did not have to pay any additional tax when checking in, as noted on a previous review.
LP course
Great course an the best golf value in RP.
The course is in excellent condition.
Value
If you love to play golf this course is the best golf value in RP. The course is in excellent condition and the staff is great.
Staff issues
First time I have been charged tax on a round of golf. If you pay green fees without golf now you pay no tax but through golf now the course charges an additional $5.00 per person. With the fees Golf now charges and the tax virtually no reason to book through golf now. Course needs help no water on the course, no ball cleaners on carts and carts are old, brakes are bad. The course has been great in the past. But not so good now.
