The Links at Las Palomas Resort Golf Club

5 years ago or so this course had water problems and much of the grass died. The turf has made a fairly complete comeback. The large greens are excellent, the wide fairways are mostly recovered, tee boxes are excellent. I enjoyed getting reacquainted with the combination of sporty layout yet friendly links-style course.

Great day of golf with my buddy at Las Palomas. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rental clubs got the job done, but a little expensive in my opinion. Maybe some complimentary balls in the bag for the price of the rental. We got a "Hot Deal" and paid less for the round than the rentals. Everything else on the day was a super fun round of golf. Weather was perfect, course was in good shape, just wish I hit the ball a little better, but don't we all!!

Course in great shape. I don't understand the negative reviews recently. Layout could use a little more explanation as some tee boxes seem to looking at 2 fairways. Apart from that a super good round]d at a bargain price.

some of the holes weren't clearly marked, even when looking at the arial view at the tee box some holes were confusing because two flags are visible from the fairway.

How can you rate trash? This course was horrific in condition. I prepaid, then got charged $5.00 each for some Mexican scam tax. Course was unplayable. The course is horribly marked, no one to show the layout, no book to even know where to go. Several holes, you were overwhelmed with sewage stench that almost made you puke. They were mowing the fairways, leaving almost a foot of dry grass in the fairway and in front of the greens. The greens did not exist, unless you count putting on pure sand a green. A rooster tail of sand on your putt? Terrible. We will never play this waste of time and money ever again.

Entire staff friendly and accommodating. Course in decent shape however watch the wind.

The course has improved slightly, but still remains in bad condition. Definitely not worth full price. The lack of watering last summer still shows, and I suspect the course will probably not get watered again this summer, creating a cycle of bad conditions.

Course was in rough shape fairways and green sides were very patchy and brown. Greens were in good shape but overall not worth 75 dollars a person. Pace of play was brutal had multiple 4 somed on one tee box of at one point we were waiting 15 minutes to hit each shot. We were not able to finish due extremely slow pace.

Greens & tee boxes were in great shape, not so much the fairways, very spotty. Seagulls on holes 9 & 11 took 9 balls & flew away w/ them!!! Seemed like they were trained! Use only trash balls on these holes!! Golf cart died on hole 12 had to push it upevery hill after!! Still a very fun day…we would olay again cuz we stayed at the resort. Cost $60pp

We have played this course before and it was in great shape. Yesterday it started when we had to pay an additional $5 USD per person at the checking counter for “taxes” + another $6 for 35 range balls. The driving range grass is in great shape but then you have to start play at th #1 tee box and from there things go downhill pretty fast, the fairways are in the worst shape I have ever seen them. Golf carts are good.

The course should be closed down and rebuilt. It was damaged last summer and has never recovered. Plus the refreshments are overpriced It is not worth playing. I’ve played midwestern cow pastures that were better

Unfortunately this was absolutely awful. Apparently they stopped watering the course quite some time ago and the fairways were nothing buy some weeds and wet sand. The greens were green and very sandy and slowwwww. If it wasn't for the green weeds the entire place would have been brown. So sad, this place isn't a place I would return to.

$5,00 "MEXICAN TAX PER PERSON" is a mandatory fee that is not disclosed when you pay on line but the collect it when you check in.

The carts have NO BRAKES and are dangerous.

They stopped irrigating the course last summer due to water shortages and it has not come back. Greens are in good shape, but that is all. At any given time you could be hitting off of weeds, mud, hard dirt or sand; almost never off of grass. I only played because I got a Hot Deal at $28. Even that ended up being a problem, because after paying taxes and fees, they told me I owed another $5 at the course. My $28 round became $43 and this course is not worth that right now.
