Glen Eagle Golf & Country Club

The course plays about 60 yards longer than in 2017 from the tips due to relocation of tee boxes on holes 1 and 12. Fairways are lush, narrow and lined with water and sand hazards. Don't spend too much energy looking for balls that are wide of the first cut of rough.

The practice green is large and has close to 10 target holes as well as movement in lots of directions. Greens on the course are reasonably large and, well maintained and ran 10+ on the day I played.. Pace of play was about 3 hours.

Friendly staff, course in very good condition. A very flat, easy course, fairways not too narrow, and rough was fairly thin grass and easy to find misshit balls. Clubhhouse closed till October but snacks and drinks available at the Divot after the 9th. Would play again

This course is about 5600 yards from its longest tees. However, large and fast greens and narrow fairways put a premium on accurate and thoughtful play. Course conditions are especially good this time of year, even though aeration of greens seems to leave a mark for a couple weeks after the event.

Fairways are well maintained. There are sand and water hazards that can come into play on every hole.

There is a marshal who usually has cold, wet towels on hot days and who is visible throughout your round of golf. Pace of play in July is about 3 hours plus or minus a few minutes depending on the time of day.

The Divot restaurant may be open. I saw no beverage cart.

From the moment I arrived the staff and fancility precented a welcoming player experience.

The golf shop was layedout well and hosts knowledgeable staff. The Golf Service Staff were well manored and very insightful on course conditions, local news, and current affairs.

The golf course was in absolute fabulous condition, hats off to the golf course maintenance team!! Job well done!

I'm a fan of the layout, length, condition, and full players experience offered at Glenn Eagle Golf & Country Club. I will definitely look to visit whenever the opportunity persents its self.

This is a private course that allows some outside play during the summer month. Course was in immaculate condition. Greens, fairways and even the rough up to the OB lines were just immaculate. This is a shorter course with short but interesting holes and narrow fairways. Would be fun for short hitters from forward tees - no water carries.

This is a very nicely laid out medium length course. They should have mentioned that they were airateing. Some very tough holes with water in play on all holes.

Course plays a bit longer than on the card as a few yards have been added to the tips on #1 & #12. Fairways and greens in very good condition.

Water is in play on several holes.

Pace of play can be 3 to 4 hours.

Renovations are ongoing to the restaurant . Irma may have taken several large trees. Clean up of water hazard edges improves the look of the course.

Green is fast, and fairway maintenance is very good as this time of year.

It was great to be able to play Glen Eagle today after it was closed during the summer last year. The course changes they have made were well thought through. The course itself was in absolutely tip top condition. The fairways were beautifully kept and the greens were just superb even if they were a little fast for us Brits used to playing in the rain and mud! Everyone from the course superintendent, Steve, and his staff, the staff in the pro shop and the staff in the restaurant/bar were all welcoming, friendly and helpful. Bearing in mind this is a members course which is not always available on Golf Now, they were exceptionally accommodating, as always, and we shall look to play there many more times during our visits. Thanks guys!

Parred the course first time out. However course very dry and hard. So dry could hardly put the tee in the ground.

Played gen eagles for the first time this week. Course is shorter than usual with many short ~300 yards par fours and 5 par threes that they seemed stretched to the max to make the overall yardage reasonable,. Course conditions are okay, not elite but better than Naples public courses. Greens were firm and fast but rolled true. Some fairways very narrow with houses in play. No real practice area other than a putting green and a net to hit into.

I would play again for the right price

Have to give feedback on the very clear impression that as a non-member I was not very welcome in this club.

Yes, we all know private clubs are anti golfnow public players but if you need the money and welcome golfnow bookings dont make it so obvious you are unhappy.

Called in advance with a question and the guy on the phone was somewhat rude.

At the course the guy at cart return / bag drop area was miserable.

Totally unwelcome feeling.

Having said that it was an enjoyable course and good value for $37.

A few very nice holed but many more short holes than normal.

Course overall in good shape but greens rock hard although in good condition (and fast) for putting.

Splendid course. Great condition considering the weather. Greens fast , fairways very nice plenty of grass. Excellent value for money. Would recommend it to anyone.

Course is in great shape. Greens are lightening fast. Makes putting a challenge. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rangers come around to see if everything is ok. Pace of play is excellent.
