Reviews
Glen Eagle
This is a really nice course, good layout and a decent challenge for the average golfer. Worth noting that the course has been completely relayed with brand new Greens. The new Greens are very quick but also very hard. Almost impossible to stop the ball on the green. It will be much more enjoyable once the Greens settle in and soften up. Overall a good course and great value for money.
Great fun!
A real nice course, challenging but great fun. Greens were in need of attention, causing some problems and missed putts.
really lke this course
Shot my age 72. The greens need some work but the rest of the course is in good condition. Can't beat it for the money. The staff are very friendly.
Nice course.
The staff is very friendly. They asked if it was our first time playing and since it was, they gave us a map and explained the course layout. The course is in good shape with some areas being quite wet due to the recent rains. It was challenging enough for my husband (a low handicap) and enjoyable for me too(a high handicap). Afterwards, we stopped into the clubhouse for a drink. Once again, the staff was very friendly. We had a great time.
Bad shape.
The course was ok for the money that we payed, But the greens were in horrible condition and on the boxes the grass was longer than the T's and it was some kind of stringy grass that will make it very hard for the club face to go through. 10 of the holes were cart path only, the course dose not drain well at all, is like a swap.
Iguanas
Course was quite sort but nice. The greens were not in good conditions. After 9 holes a needed a small snack but there were only sandwiches with fries being the smallest snack. .i only wanted a chocolate bar!
I particularly enjoyed seeing big iguanas wandering about
GREAT COURSE FOR THE MONEY! A REALLY FUN CHALLENGE!
This course is in good condition and although it's shorter than some, it is a nice challenge with bunkers and water hazards all around! Greens roll fast!
The staff is super friendly and the carts have GPS to give you constant hole distance. Highly recommend for the price!
Great condition; short yardage
Was in great shape. Greens were alittle slow for me. Lots of corners to cut! A "thinkers" course because on every hole you must think! Think! Yardage? How far is the bunker on the corner? Yardage to dogleg? Driver? 3 wood? 4 iron? You really have to analyze ever time you tee it up. I really enjoyed it because I had to shape shots all day! Back tees were 5600 yards!
NIce course, nice people
Great little course in very good shape. It is short but you still have to execute the shots. I enjoy playing this course each and every time. The staff is very accommodating and do a great job to make sure your round is enjoyable.
Good course conditions
Overall good experience
Back 9 closed for bridge repair.
Playing partners fun
offseason, par 70... good for the money
no issues, as i live here and its summertime. i know how dry the courses get, and the areas around the greens are pretty thin right now. fairways and greens in great shape.
for 15-20 dollars, a solid bargain.
clubhouse friendly, golf pro friendly.
92/100
Short course, but nice round
This is a private course in season, but open to the public in the late spring and summer. It is short (max 5518 yds) but somewhat challenging for the length. A good course for ladies or seniors who no longer hit the ball much over 200.
The pace was great except for 2 holes when we caught up to some novices who were quite slow, but we played through and then it was smooth sailing thru 18. The condition of the course was pretty good and the staff was very friendly.
Not good shape
Putting greens where in terrible shape , tee boxes where horrible very dry just not in good shape I was very disappointed
Short course
Course is more an executive course... 5 par 3's... short par 4 and 5's... staff was friendly... they do not take cash? Mostly a position course off the tee... greens were slow and grainy... hard to roll anything in from any distance... would play it again but very average course...
Glen Eagle 5/5/16
Course was in good shape. Price was excellent. Pace of play was good (about 4 hours) but we we could have played faster if the Sr member foursome in front of us would have let us pass(we were a. threesomme). Course is a bit short but we'll Kate's out. Good in the clubhouse was excellent (best fish tacos I have had) and reasonable priced especially for the Naples area. Staff was freidly and helpful.
Great course for all level of golfers
What a treat to play this course, great for all levels of golfer. Excellent condition, staff and amenities.
Beautiful but layout was different. Quite a drive to get to 10th hole and back to clubhouse. Slow groups could have been managed better
Great staff clubhouse and course was in very good condition
