Could have more ball washers, only two bathrooms on the whole course other than those small things, it was a great time.

Very forgiving fairways, challenging layout and fast greens - what a blast!!

We had a great day at the Lakes. The course was in great shape except for the greens. Many of the greens had dead spots from recent treatments. They were also a bit on the bumpy side as well.

SUPER friendly staff and very helpful! The fairways are super tight and seemed a little thin - frustrating for me. That's the only negative I have. Both times I caught groups they allowed me to play thru as soon as made sense.

This is a challenging course. The fairways are generous enough and real trouble is usually well out of play, if not there's a safe side. The Bermuda roughs can be brutal, unlike the fairways they are thick.

This is a great course especially for a middle handicapper. A number of challenging par fours but it is fairly wide open. Greens were in good shape. They have a nice patio for a drink and the food is good. Highly recommended!

Pretty good course except for consistently crowning of every hole. It makes putting more difficult than it should be. Not sure why this issue has continued. Great if you want to inflate your handicap, but frustrating if you lag put and watch ball veer consistently away from whole at last second. If you hit put harder to stay online it hits pin and goes off to either side or over the hole if pin is out. PGA pros would never accept this condition.

I drove to Hilton Head area to play this course and I wasn't disappointed. The fairways are manicured and the greens were receptive and rolled well. It was quote a long round only because it was "cart path only" from the rain in the previous days. But...what are ya' gonna do when God makes rain. The staff at the snack window (at the turn) were very pleasant. I ordered a Reuben Sandwich that was one of the best I've had in SC, being a NY transplant for the past 25 years. Enjoy this course but be wise with you teeshots. There is trouble in many spots. Use your 3W when it's called for and you'll be fine. Be the ball.

Overall the course is a nice track.. It is very forgiving on most holes and I would recommend it to anyone.. The course could use a little more maintenance in some areas as well as the carts. We ended up going thru 3 carts on this round.. which from past experience seems to be a fluke... Overall very playable and we will be back again.

Starter was unorganized and was making last minute changes to the line up. Mowers impeded the play often. Fairways were cut too short and had clumps of grass all over them. Rough was not cut enough.

My first time here. Prior rain left the course wide open. Literally! I was THE only person on the course. Most areas drained well, but the occasional slop was not unexpected.

I loved the layout. A combination of reasonably wide fairways, challenging approaches, and traps positioned to snare the errant ball strike will make you think each shot. Greens held firm with wet conditions and are likely tougher when dry.

It was a bit of a hike from HHI resort areas but worth the trip.

Had a great time, would have been better had it not been so windy. That being said the course was in great shape greens were fast and true. Not a lot of trouble so you can score. Will return.

Upon arriving I checked in 40 minutes before scheduled time. Golf pro shop check in was marginal at best. Not friendly. Told them it was our first time there and had to ask for everything from where the carts were, range, starter, and for practice balls. Had to wait for 15minutes to get our carts because all were being used. It didn't leave enough time to hit all the balls at range because of the delay. At hole 5 tee box one of the carts died. Called clubhouse 3 times and flag down a golf maintenance worker to tell them. It took 50 minutes for a cart to arrive and we didn't get to finish our round because of it. I received no apologies. Just excuses. The management is clueless to help paying customers enjoy a round of golf . Do not recommend if you expect to have a pleasant experience with the staff.

I enjoyed the course. Well maintained and greens rolled nice. It was just very HOT! Like 104 degrees which made it tough, but the course has a nice layout, challenging but not too tough to enjoy. I will play here again.

Enjoyed the course greatly got rained out my last 3 holes but course was really nice
