Nice layout, lots of forced carries. Greens have gotten better through the years, still need a little work though. They recently changed the nines around, the starter had an isdue with us starting on the wrong side, we weren't aware of the change, he wasn't very friendly. Bring los of balls!!!

I played this course today for the first time in a year. It took 5 and a half hours to play. The course was so backed up that my friend and I were forced to make a foursome with the group behind us. On every hole we had to about 15 minutes before we could hit. This was brutal!

Great course!

Played the black tips..., a true challenge.

Played with 2 young guys that not only played well but were perfect playing partners !!

Course conditions from T to greens were spot on.

Course was great food and pro shop the same but Golf Now Sucks!!!

Great course well maintained tee boxes fairways and greens. Challenging holes. Senior rates are very fair considering the caliber of the course. Only flaw was we were not told that our gps watches had to be reversed because holes were reversed.

If you don’t mind spending 5+ hours for no reason playing golf go here. It’s unconscionable that 18 holes can take more than 4 hours. Never mind the 5 hour nonsense that it took today. This was not the first time I’ve had a 5+ hour round at Gillette either.

This course has come back nicely. A few years ago it had gone downhill but it is back in almost pristine condition. One of the best in the state for golf and for support staff.

Very nice course and lots of fun holes.only odd thing was white tress are 5700 yards and blues were 6500 ..I played whites because 6500 yards is too far but they should have a 6000-6100 yards as whites

It’s tough to charge full freight for a wet course and cart path only when you can’t walk the course. 57$.

for Having just opened it was great. Greens were rough but that’s to be expected in early April. My ratings will be even higher as the season moves along

our foursome play the course on a Thursday afternoon very chilly but the course was in great shape a little wet here and there as you might expect given our recent weather. Very few people on the course of the pace was great greens were in excellent condition although a bit fast and hard still in great shape enjoy for the rest of the year. Restaurant staff friendly and food and bar excellent.

No marshall to speed up pace of play. Tee boxes were not adequately marked. Entitled, slow, terrible golfers couldn’t bother to fill divots and repair greens.

1st time playing since they reopened. Applause to the grounds staff. Fairways and greens are in great condition.

Actual greens are the same speed as the practice green-true and fast.

Can't wait to return

After multiple days of rain we played this course. The grounds crew was very apparent cutting and taking york rakes to the bunkers. They were not a constant distraction because they went against the direction of play. It did not take away from a challenging course we would love to play again.,

Last year, the conditions were amazing, comparable to the nearby Wintonbury, but there has been a decline this year. Not saying the conditions are bad, but it is a noticeable decline from last year.

The pace today was absolutely awful. 5 hours. On our second time around there was an approaching T-Storm, and thunder was heard and lightning was seen, but no horn was blown. We decided to head in because it was looking really bad. We went in and got a raincheck and asked about the horn and they said you have to listen for a nearby course's horn. Really? That's dangerous!
