About
The Wildhorse Golf Club is the first of three planned courses for the Robson Ranch Community outside of Denton. Designed by architect Gary Stephenson, the course opened the second nine in October 2002.
The signature hole is on the front, a 566-yard par 5 that requires a monster drive followed by two demanding approach shots.
Getting there : From Dallas take I-35 to Denton and look for the 35 W split. This takes you back towards the south to Fort Worth for 6 miles, where you’ll take the Robson Ranch exit. Drive 1.5 miles west and look for the course.

Challenging but fair
Course and facilities were in great condition.
Will play it again soon but it’s a little further drive and a little more expensive than some other courses that are closer. No doubt it was with the drive from the standpoint of condition and challenge though.

Greens recently punched but other than that the course was in pristine condition, sand traps were really nice if you end up in the litter it was still playable. Saturday noon round so the course was busy and the pace was slower but still a good time and would recommend

The greens were recently punched and sanded and were in terrible shape. The management of the course should not charge the base amount if the course is not playable. Very disappointed in today’s round. Very disappointed.

Wildhorse West/North
Good course for average golfers. Confitions pretty good. Played round in4 hours. Staff friendly, amenities including grill available..
Carts clean and good operating condition. Low key, an enjoyable afternoon.

Hidden Gem
I booked this course on the recommendation of Golfnow. I was pleased with the course. It was in fantastic shape for being in the hot summer of TX. Greens were fast, but true. I would definitely recommend this course.

Course is a little drive for most in metroplex
course is challenging without being tricky.....fairways were in good shape and the greens rolled true....since playing a couple weeks earlier it did appear to need some water.....members and staff are very friendly and happy group...my rate came with two sleeves of a premium golf ball....maybe a little higher than other golf now courses but a value

Perfect Conditions but Speedy Greens
The course was in phenomenal condition when we played. The fairways and rough are all cut perfectly. However the greens were recently punched and they are now lightning fast and very hard. It made it hard to score very well simply because of the greens. Overall the nicest course conditions I’ve played on this year. Well worth the money for an afternoon tee time.

Enjoyable round
Played the combo of North/South and really enjoyed both. Courses were in excellent condition with generous fairways which made for a fun match. Staff were helpful and we took advantage of the promotion with two sleeves of golf balls.

Great course, bad day
We played the West/North combo. Conditions were pretty good considering 2 inches of rain overnight. Cart path only of course....
I love this course, very playable, fair, wide fairways, challenging greens, and good bunkers.
However, the course and facility was having a bad day. We waited over 45 minutes for a cart at 1pm on a Saturday. Then when we got on the course it was a 5 hour slog due to people that don't understand how to play CPO golf. Robson needs to invest in some new or rented carts to meet demands on weekends. They recognize the problem, but haven't done anything about it yet.
My suggestions would be to go here on a weekday or weekend morning. Much more enjoyable in my opinion. Again, great course, great people, just a bad day today.
