Frisco Lakes Golf Club
About
Frisco Lakes Golf Club is a part of the Del Webb Frisco Lakes Community, just north of Dallas. The front nine of the course is interwoven with the community itself while the back nine sprawls across open countryside. The five sets of tees range from just over 5,000 yards to just over 7,000 yards, allowing the golf course to be played as a leisurely round or a formidable test. The challenging, well maintained greens are the course's most memorable feature. Golfers should be prepared for a back-to-back peninsula green and island green on the seventh and eighth holes. The 14th is another tough water hole that runs alongside Lake Lewisville. Water is not the only hazard at Frisco Lakes Golf Club though, there are also plenty of strategically placed bunkers throughout.

It was good.
It was good deal. The weather was good too. I enjoyed the game.
Bomber's Paradise
Frisco Lakes is located in the Del Webb retirement community. The course is built for the clientele with very little rough and wide fairways. Greens were a little slow, but in good conditon. We played the day before Thanksgiving and it was cold (46* for the afternoon) and sunny.
Pace of play was great since very few people were on the course. If you want to break out the driver on most every hole with little consequences, this is the palce to go.
Great golf challenge for all handicaps
Awesome layout with beautiful well maintained greens.
Pace of play was great!
Pace of play was great, but it was really windy and a little wet. Not many people wanted to play I guess, hence the pace.
Good course at a discount tee time rate
Normal daily rate is overpriced for this course, but got a good rate on a time from GolfNow. The course was in good shape, and a good layout - interesting shotmaking on not really a long course. The pace of play was great - I was a single and played through a twosome and a foursome, and was able to finish the round in 2 hours and 40 minutes, without really rushing at all.
Nice course, could be a great course
Played Frisco Lakes in October of 2013. Good course for women golfers and beginners as well. Fairways need more water, but greens are nice and fast. Was not impressed with the staffs friendliness or with the overall cleanliness of the clubhouse. No doubt, this club could be great with a little TLC. Would definitely recommend this club to all golf lovers.
Nice Design
Will definitely return to play again when another good deal comes up. Just right amount of challenge. Some strategy and drive placement required. Risk reward on the par 5's. Undulating greens. Play for the pin if you don't want a long putt. The only negatives I had were a backup on Number 1 tee and the fairways are a little tight for my liking. Need a little more cushion under the ball with Bermuda grass.
Front nine is very non-descript, back nine was a great layout.
Our tee time was pushed back 45 minutes, but the shop staff was kind enough to lower our rate and throw in some range balls. The fairway turf was very thin, but well kept, the greens had been punched, but healing nicely. Very challenging putting course. We played in under 3.25 hours, and the local players were very friendly.
Very nice course
This course is very nice. It has some holes that are easy and some challenging.
Course was in incredible shape.
Course was in incredible shape. Greens are the best I have played in pst month.
Great course
The course was in great shape. It had a very unique layout & almost every hole was beautiful. I will deffinately be back to play again!
One of favorities course in north Dallas
Frisco Lakes golf course is getting better and better every time I go there. Course is in excellent condition and I did really enjoy it.
Thanks!!
great layout and practice facility
Corse is in great shape. They punched greens, but still nice.one of best public courses in dallas area.
Well designed course
Nice course to play but, at the higher end of the price scale compared to similar courses in the area.
Super slow
Slowest round of the year, bar none. What is the role of a marshal? To drive by and wave occasionally apparently. 5.5 hours, even on a Saturday, is inexcusable.
The greens are in fantastic shape.....
The greens are in the best shape. I enjoy playing this course every week with my good friends.
Great layout
this course has a little bit of everything, rolling fairways, water, blind shots and great greens.
Very well kept, great course!
Fairways and greens were all in great shape. The course has 5 sets of tees so you can adjust to your level. Fairways were generally wide. Water came into play on many holes. Overall a beautiful course, I will definitely go back.
Course is in good condition
This course has improved since the last time I played many months ago. Greens are in very nice shape and pretty quick. Only downside is the practice green is way slower then all holes on the course. I do give them credit that they saved the practice green, as it was almost lost in my opinion. Overall the course is well maintained and fun to play.
