Frisco Lakes Golf Club

This is an awesome course, however, we started late because we had to wait for a cart. Once we got our cart we were backed up due to a 4some playing infront of us. So pretty much every hole we had to wait. I will go back, but it will be a weekday.

this is one of the best courses that I have played on for the price.

greens are rolling nice and smooth. the change of head groundskeeper has really made a difference in the quality of the fairways and greens.

Course was in good shape, greens rolled very well! Starter was very cool, cart girl was nice and attentive (saw her 4 times during the round). Even though there was a small tournament in front of me the round cruised by in about 4:15, not too bad. Fun course, I played the gold tees i believe at 6600 yrs, the black tees at 7100 yrs could be a beast with some lake lewisville winds! Overall enjoyable round, would play this course anytime!

This course was a quick round (it was a Tuesday). The holes were pretty straight-forward with no big surprises. The fairways and greens rolled relatively fast and were very smooth. The tricky part was the greens. You really need to play with someone who knows were all of the mounds and valleys are, not to mention the false fronts. Great course overall! I will play again.

Bar tender was hopeless. Couldnt pour beer and was disorganized. Poorly trained

Course maintained OK. Fairways very tight and one can see that they may become rock hard unless kept up with. Pro shop staff not unfriendly but a little spacey. There was a massive water leak on 7th tee box. I called but nobody answered the phone. I stopped at the turn and the young man in the pro shop looked at me like I had just told him that the sun was shinning. I would go back but am not rushing to set up a tee time.

Best shape i've seen course in awhile and I've played course since it opened.

Course was in great condition. The greens were slower than other times I've played there. The condition of the fairways, greens and the sandtraps was excellent condition. If it wasn't already 8:30 pm we would have played another round. Played the whole course with one golf ball.

Great variety of holes out here. Usually enough room off the tee to keep you out of people's backyards but enough trouble to reward good shots and punish bad ones. Some well-placed, tough bunkers and some tough-to-read greens (at least for me) that seem to defy the laws of gravity with putts seemingly breaking uphill. Makes me want to go back until I figure out those greens. Lots of fun. Highly recommend it.

The course was in very good shape and fun to play. It was challenging yet fair. Play was light when we played so we moved around very quickly. The Golf Shop employee was very dismissive and gave me NO information about the course. When I asked to get range balls, he abruptly stated that the range was closed--too wet (even though there was no standing water or even overly wet areas). No "Sorry but our range is closed today." Afterwards we went into the grill. We ordered two glasses of wine then waited for menus and our wine. The server completely forgot about us. I had to go in to remind him about our wine. After a substantial wait, we finally had our order taken. These problems are fixable if the will is there to address these issues.

The web rate was a deal and a half. It was wide open and I had a great time. Will go back soon

I"ll comeback with my friensds to enjoy a great four hours of golf .it's a beutifull course and friendly for a new player .I did hit a lower score In the last five rounds .

Course is fun. I've played it before and come back. Plenty of length.

Fun course to play. Depending on pin placement and which tee box you use you can amp up the difficulty. The front nine fairways are getting thin. Not as lush as they have been, or as much as I would prefer.

The course was challenging, but must say that the person that rated the holes on the score card must have had too much to drink when rating the holes. The course was somewhat challenging and the greens were faster than most in the Frisco area. Was a little upset that the cart girl only showed up once during our round and it was on hole #18. She just flew by us and didn't even ask us if we needed anything.

I love this course. It has some holes that Challenger you, and others that you can take advantage of. It is in great condition, what more can you ask of a golf course?!!

One of my favorite course. Very well kept, somewhat challenging. Beautiful views.

Great variety and a ton of fun. Really a very well maintained (not quite pristine but not far from it) course. It is top 3 for me in DFW.
