About
The Arthur Hills/Mike Dasher-designed Sienna Plantation is a flat, wooded course that has been enhanced to provide elevation changes. The result is a challenging track that rolls between lakes, creeks, and the native hardwoods that dominate the landscape.
In terms of playability, you'll primarily notice the abundance of risk-reward decisions that are required throughout the round on this course, which tips out at 7,151 yards.
Out of the chute you'll be challenged immediately-the opening two holes play as a 427-yard par 4 and a 601-yard par 5. It lightens up a bit on holes 3-4 with a reasonably short par 3 and a short par 4, but holes 5-8 can blow your score up quickly if you're not on your game. No. 6 is a monster 251-yard par 3 sandwiched between two 450-yard par 4s.
On the back it's more of the same, with the nine opening with four 400-yard plus par 4s. Both par 3s are over 200 yards, and the par 5s are each well over 500 yards. The only real birdie opportunity for the average handicapper is the 320-yard No. 16.
Getting there : Take Hwy. 59 south to the Williams Trace exit. Turn left on Williams Trace to Hwy. 6. Turn left and drive 5.5 miles to the Sienna Plantation main entrance. Turn right and follow the signs to the Information Center.

Getting better
Course in good shape but should be better in the coming weeks if has some rain. Most greens are good and some working on the bad grass.

Terrible greens and bad ownership
The owners don’t up keep this course enough, they own sienna and Greatwood and both are in bad shape. They pocket money and don’t put it back into the course. Greens and fairways need work. Once two great courses with good layouts are now slowly dying. Don’t spend ur money here in the fort bend area. I recommend quail valley much better value for your money

Seen Better Days
Course in dire need of upkeep. Greens have tufts of overgrowth and divot marks everywhere. Burnt patches and brown areas abound in the fairways. Course needs lots of tlc.

Horrible Condition!
Course in horrible condition. Greens have bad spots all over them and a lot of the tee boxes were just dirt with no grass. Definitely would not recommend this course.

What a shock.
Played this course many times and never saw it in this bad condition. Other courses that had gotten plenty of rain are now in great condition, but not this one. Not sure what is going on, but if I lived at Sienna, I would be plenty upset that their course is in such bad shape. The family that runs this course also runs other courses and are known for putting in the course as little as possible and putting in their pocket as much as possible. What a shame. Not going back any time soon.

Green in great condition

Only 2-3 holes have perfect green. The rest are either pumpy or were invaded by crab grass!
I've played there 4 times and this time was bad.
Will not be coming back.

Most courses are in mediocre condition because of lack of rain. Greens are bumpy and weedy. Too pricey for conditions. Will recommend to the group other venues. See you down the road.

Sienna needs help
Fairways a lot of dead grass, greens had a lot of weeds, tee boxes hard. Would spend $35 on this course. Greens were really bad
