About
The Arthur Hills/Mike Dasher-designed Sienna Plantation is a flat, wooded course that has been enhanced to provide elevation changes. The result is a challenging track that rolls between lakes, creeks, and the native hardwoods that dominate the landscape.
In terms of playability, you'll primarily notice the abundance of risk-reward decisions that are required throughout the round on this course, which tips out at 7,151 yards.
Out of the chute you'll be challenged immediately-the opening two holes play as a 427-yard par 4 and a 601-yard par 5. It lightens up a bit on holes 3-4 with a reasonably short par 3 and a short par 4, but holes 5-8 can blow your score up quickly if you're not on your game. No. 6 is a monster 251-yard par 3 sandwiched between two 450-yard par 4s.
On the back it's more of the same, with the nine opening with four 400-yard plus par 4s. Both par 3s are over 200 yards, and the par 5s are each well over 500 yards. The only real birdie opportunity for the average handicapper is the 320-yard No. 16.
Getting there : Take Hwy. 59 south to the Williams Trace exit. Turn left on Williams Trace to Hwy. 6. Turn left and drive 5.5 miles to the Sienna Plantation main entrance. Turn right and follow the signs to the Information Center.

Good course for the money
The course is in decent condition. Not top rated due to the how dry the tee boxes and fairways are. Found it difficult to put a tee in the ground on most tee boxes. However, the greens were fast and mostly consistent.
The longest time for 9 holes
Where do I begin here? The pace of place was so horrible and there’s no where to see the marshals on course to speed up the groups in front of us. There’s no golf etiquette whatsoever for the foursome group in front. I am perfectly fine with bad/new players but not the slow players. At the tee#9, the group in front of them already on the green, and this group still waited. They were senior players and the thought they can drive the ball to green from their forwards tee? Give me a break! I thought I came back for a better experience but it wasn’t. Same issue!

Technically challenging course. Overall great condition but with rains could make the course softer. Long Par 3's and two driveable Par 4's. Great mix of elevation and distances.
Very pleased
Haven’t played here since before Covid and it was just like I remember. Greens were a little slow but all in all great shape. We had nobody in front of us the entire round on a Saturday which is rare but it was super hot outside and tee time was 1:30pm. Will be playing here again.
Slow, slower, slowest
The course was in great shape and the greens smooth and true. The gentleman in the pro shop was helpful.
BUT we had to wait on almost EVERT SHOT. The blame is shared among slow golfers AND THE LACK OF MARSHALS. We saw not a single marshal in almost five hours.

Terrible experience
Due to poor management we were the 4th group in line to tee off at our scheduled tee time. Sienna refused to provide a refund or a rain check. It turned out to be a quick round at a little over 3 hours. ( I left after 9 holes since it was going to be at least 6 hours)

Terrible Course
Tye conditions were atrocious. Very hard ground and tee boxes not watered. The driving range was the worst part. I payed 16$ for a large bucket just to not use most of the balls because they were still dirty with all sorts of scuffs and mud on them. I would never return to this course. It’s a shame that a great neighborhood had such a poor unmaintained course.

Worst course I’ve played on
This is by far the worst course I’ve played on in a long time. Ground was too hard to put a tee in. Greens were filled with crab grass. Grass in the fairway was overgrown. There was no cart attendant and come to find out when I stopped at the turn the course restaurant was closed on a Sunday afternoon. Just awful experience

Course was not in great condition. Greens were not up kept. Tee boxes was so dry that you couldn’t put a tee in the ground.

Great value for the money
A little crowded but not really super slow, the only negative is that the tee boxes were as hard as concrete, need to be watered, otherwise a great day of golf.
