About
The Arthur Hills/Mike Dasher-designed Sienna Plantation is a flat, wooded course that has been enhanced to provide elevation changes. The result is a challenging track that rolls between lakes, creeks, and the native hardwoods that dominate the landscape.
In terms of playability, you'll primarily notice the abundance of risk-reward decisions that are required throughout the round on this course, which tips out at 7,151 yards.
Out of the chute you'll be challenged immediately-the opening two holes play as a 427-yard par 4 and a 601-yard par 5. It lightens up a bit on holes 3-4 with a reasonably short par 3 and a short par 4, but holes 5-8 can blow your score up quickly if you're not on your game. No. 6 is a monster 251-yard par 3 sandwiched between two 450-yard par 4s.
On the back it's more of the same, with the nine opening with four 400-yard plus par 4s. Both par 3s are over 200 yards, and the par 5s are each well over 500 yards. The only real birdie opportunity for the average handicapper is the 320-yard No. 16.
Getting there : Take Hwy. 59 south to the Williams Trace exit. Turn left on Williams Trace to Hwy. 6. Turn left and drive 5.5 miles to the Sienna Plantation main entrance. Turn right and follow the signs to the Information Center.

Surprise after reading some reviews
Didn’t agree with some of the negative comments.
I enjoy the layout and challenges of this course.. Winter conditions but all phases of the course were very good. Fairways were good just damp and greens were fast and consistent-watch out on down hill putts. No Marshall or starter but pace was good.
I had Hot Deal with no provide.
I hope they keep course in this condition ???
Walked a lot
The course was ok after days of rain and cold.
But the man at the pro shop counter needs to be given 20 lashes with a wet noodle. He forgot to change the "Cart Path Only" signs to "90 degree rule" and was unapologetic. I learned this after my round was over. Lots of walking.
Rude staff!!!!
Love the layout. Course in great shape for winter. Staff was extremely rude. Staff Did not appreciate that we were golf now customers. Stated “we don’t get any money from them”!!! Payed for 2 carts with a threesome. Our third didn’t show up and we asked for 2 carts anyway and we were denied even though we had paid for the cart. Would not come back just because of staff.

Resident Review
I live on the course and really like the lay out. I really hope that the greens start to come around> I would like to see more grass planted as well as maintenance around course.
I played here back in the 90's and it was one of the best.
Maybe the hiring of a marshal to patrol the course would help keep people off par 3's and area where they should not be driving the carts.
My experience overall I have always been excellent.
This course brings out my best.
I last played Sienna 4 weeks ago and each time Icouldnt have been assigned better golfing partners. Pace and knowledge were superb. You have to strategically think your way around this course. Greens and fairways were in good shape.

Challenging course
This course is always a challenge especially when the wind is blowing like it was on this day. Only real complaint is the tee boxes were kind of beaten up.
Club House Staff was friendly
Lady in the clubhouse check in was welcoming and friendly.
Nice layout
Course was in good shape. The greens Rolled true. Pro shop staff was friendly and helpful.
