About
The Arthur Hills/Mike Dasher-designed Sienna Plantation is a flat, wooded course that has been enhanced to provide elevation changes. The result is a challenging track that rolls between lakes, creeks, and the native hardwoods that dominate the landscape.
In terms of playability, you'll primarily notice the abundance of risk-reward decisions that are required throughout the round on this course, which tips out at 7,151 yards.
Out of the chute you'll be challenged immediately-the opening two holes play as a 427-yard par 4 and a 601-yard par 5. It lightens up a bit on holes 3-4 with a reasonably short par 3 and a short par 4, but holes 5-8 can blow your score up quickly if you're not on your game. No. 6 is a monster 251-yard par 3 sandwiched between two 450-yard par 4s.
On the back it's more of the same, with the nine opening with four 400-yard plus par 4s. Both par 3s are over 200 yards, and the par 5s are each well over 500 yards. The only real birdie opportunity for the average handicapper is the 320-yard No. 16.
Getting there : Take Hwy. 59 south to the Williams Trace exit. Turn left on Williams Trace to Hwy. 6. Turn left and drive 5.5 miles to the Sienna Plantation main entrance. Turn right and follow the signs to the Information Center.

Nice layout
Course was in good shape. The greens Rolled true. Pro shop staff was friendly and helpful.
Great Shape
Sienna is ready for play. Greens are excellent and the course overall in great shape
Needs new ownership / makeover
This is a great layout. The greens and fairways were actually in pretty decent shape. The carts are terrible, need a new fleet of carts. The cart paths are in major need of repair. General upkeep (water coolers, lack of ball washers, bathrooms, course infrastructure) is that of a downtrodden municipal course. The owners of Sienna Plantation Golf Club clearly do not care at all. This course and facility has the potential to be a nice club that would attract a private membership clientele, but with the way it is being run it is on par with a Muny course: Sad, because it has so much potential.
No marshal
There was a 3some in front of us (double) played extremely slow and tried to find their balls in the jungles. They even tried to putt in 2 feets and missed. And there’s no marshal to be found throughout 18 holes. We ended leaving at hole 17 since we waited an average of 4-5 minutes each hole. Inconceivable!!! Please have marshal out to speed up the pace

Nice course
Enjoyed the course. It was in good shape. Fun layout. Fairly wide open with the exception of a few holes. Great value.
