About
The Arthur Hills/Mike Dasher-designed Sienna Plantation is a flat, wooded course that has been enhanced to provide elevation changes. The result is a challenging track that rolls between lakes, creeks, and the native hardwoods that dominate the landscape.
In terms of playability, you'll primarily notice the abundance of risk-reward decisions that are required throughout the round on this course, which tips out at 7,151 yards.
Out of the chute you'll be challenged immediately-the opening two holes play as a 427-yard par 4 and a 601-yard par 5. It lightens up a bit on holes 3-4 with a reasonably short par 3 and a short par 4, but holes 5-8 can blow your score up quickly if you're not on your game. No. 6 is a monster 251-yard par 3 sandwiched between two 450-yard par 4s.
On the back it's more of the same, with the nine opening with four 400-yard plus par 4s. Both par 3s are over 200 yards, and the par 5s are each well over 500 yards. The only real birdie opportunity for the average handicapper is the 320-yard No. 16.
Getting there : Take Hwy. 59 south to the Williams Trace exit. Turn left on Williams Trace to Hwy. 6. Turn left and drive 5.5 miles to the Sienna Plantation main entrance. Turn right and follow the signs to the Information Center.

Greens are terrible
Played this course a lot, the greens are in terrible shape. What a shame because the layout is great. Hopefully the can get the greens fixed soon
Great Day at Sienna Golf Course
The Sienna Golf course is one of my favorite close to home courses. The fairway and greens were in pretty good condition. The staff and pace of play was excellent as always!
Greens
Greens are really bad shape. I would wait a month or two before paying for golf here. Love the course, I will be back on a regular basis after the greens are sorted out.

Greens need work
I liked the course overall, but the greens are not in good shape. There were several greens that had a lot of weeds growing in them, and other areas of the greens with no grass at all.

Since you asked
The cart Paths are in need of repair.. Coming off a bridge on par 317 my car bounced so hard that my keys flew out of my bag. Thankfully the group behind me found them. I take partial blame for that. I wouldn’t want to walk the course either it seemed long distance in between some of the holes. Carts are old school but work fine electric. Cart pass are not marked And is a bit confusing for a first timer.
I played on a Thursday 11 am I only saw 4 other golfers in my 3.5 hour round. A real players course, Challenging but fair. final holes give real opportunities to score or really loose some strokes. Green s were super for the seaon. Overall best course Ive played for the money.
Slow Pace and Conditions Need Improvement
Played Sunday and the pace of play was awful. Group in front of us delayed out play at least a full hour with no marshal around. Also, i know the freeze did some damage on the course but it definitely needs some upcoming around including broken cart paths, growing weeds, and overall appearance. Its a beautiful community and definitely expected a better appearance.

6 hour round!!
The layout is great, the greens are better than they have been in a year, but the pace of play was terrible! No Marshall was ever seen to speed up play. Teed up at 10 38 finished at 4.45.
You were in the group behind us- my Garmin watch said 6 hour and 18 minute round of golf... my review echoed yours- great course layout and conditions but inexcusable pace.
Good course
Nice course and layout but it would have been nice to have a marshal circulating to keep the pace of play better. Had a twosome ahead of us who were extremely slow and lost contact with the group in front of them. Also noted some of the tee markers seemed to be missing - could not locate the blue tee markers on the back nine.

Still recovering
The greens are still recovering from the big freeze and were aerated recently. Considering the unprecedented freeze we experienced in February the course is in decent shape. The grill staff and pro shop staff are very friendly and professional.
There was not a cart person on the course so be mindful of this if you prefer beverages while you play.

Great track but whoever is responsible for the condition is really falling short. Even with the past horrendous weather the greens and fairways were horrible.

Invest in the course
The course layout is wonderful. However, they cannot get the simple things right. The tee boxes are not in good shape and most don’t even have two markers. Moreover, most tee box markers are rusted out. In addition, majority of holes do not have ball washers because they rusted out and broke off, and the ones that do have them contain no water and are useless. The flag pins don’t even stand straight in the cups. The greens aren’t in good shape either. A few small changes would make the course so much better. Ownership doesn’t seem to care. They need a lesson in attention to detail.
