Great course, even nicer staff
Played a nice round here on a Saturday morning. The course is challenging but enjoyable. The staff were very helpful and welcoming.
Absolute dump
Sand everywhere felt like I was on the beach, should have brought the bucket and spade

Brilliant course. In great nick. Shame that none of the people playing bother to rake the bunkers. Hangover from Covid! Highly recommend
Great golfing option
We played the course in beautiful weather and of course that may influence opinion. The course follows a great layout with an open ‘inland links’ character. Clubhouse closes early (we finished around 20.00) with fpod/drink options at the nearby hotel..
Course in great condition
I always think the bunkers and greens are an indication of a courses health. Both were in excellent condition in Moyvalley. Actually I think the course is in better condition now than it was 10 years ago. One small critique , the Clubhouse bar was closed so we needed to go to the hotel for post golf grub, however the grub there was top class.
Fine value for money course
Very enjoyable round, course in great condition with excellent greens. Friendly staff, toilets very clean!

Top class golf course
The place is sitting fantastic, every hole on this course is class. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Nice place.
Very nice course, people were excellent. Unfortunately it started raining on the 1st tee and we had to leave after 9 because it started pouring out, which is common for Irish courses. Needless to say the course was very nice and well maintained and we appreciated the kindness of the staff who helped us get out and play.
An enjoyable test, whatever the weather
If you’re reading this, you may be considering Moyvalley for a round. Simple advice, book it. If you’re a solo golfer, like me, you’ll end up on a line with good company and the course will provide the test we all enjoy. Moyvalley is a course any player would respect and, of course, you’ll end up hitting that shot that will have you coming back. In my case this was the second time I played it. The first time it defeated me considerably. The second time, it still defeated me but I was happier with my play. The next time, let’s see (it will still win). Decision? Book it. You will enjoy it, not all of it, but that’s golf and you’ll learn lots from it. Take care.
