Hill Country Golf Club - Creeks/Oaks
About
The Creeks Nine is one of three courses at the Hill Country Golf Club. Named after the creeks that meander through the layout, this course demands accuracy with water coming into play on several holes and numerous strategically placed bunkers. There are also wooded ravines and a variety of elevation changes to keep golfers on their toes. The Oaks Nine is named for the towering oaks that blanket the course. The courses are situated on over 200 acres of scenic Texas Hill Country, giving them each a beautiful landscape of rolling hills and lush meadows dotted with native oak trees and clear blue lakes. Hill Country Golf Club is also home to a driving range and putting green on addition to the three nines.

Creek Course #9 Photo submitted by GreerGolf on 06/06/2017
Creeks & Lakes
Really good facilities, course is in great shape. Very fun layout with the 3 different 9 holes.
Beautiful a Course!
10:20 t time, on early & had great round! Not crowded, great staff & course in great shape considering long drought we’r’re in. Definitely back soon!!!
4 Stars are you kidding!
Hyatt Hotel and pool are great and the 90% of staff was very friendly except the bartenders in Charlies Long Bar, but like everywhere they were short staffed and sometimes you had to wait awhile to get served! Breakfast buffet was one of the best!
We have a group of 16 to 20 college buddies that have played golf from coast to coast for the past 28 years, and this was by far the worse designed and course conditions that we have ever played on. Many greens on all three courses, Oaks especially had more dirt than grass. The fairways were in good shape, but the rough had more hardpan than grass and the tee boxes were spotty at best! We played 4 rounds of golf and spent almost $500, not worth the cost! Hyatt needs to scrap all 27 holes and bring Fazio or Nicklaus to redesign the entire property. Because the terrain and topography are outstanding with all the oak trees, lakes, creeks, shrubs, and great weather most of the year, they could charge $200+ a round and have a full tee sheet! Spend a little more money and go play an outstanding golf course at La Cantera about 18 minutes away!

Excellent course!
Excellent course! Awesome shape! Very challenging, but super fun! 10/10 would recommend this course if you are in the area or just looking for somewhere new to play!
Greens in bad shape
For the price it cost to play it’s not worth it. If they know they’re having problems with the greens then low the cost to play. Nice layout
Hyatt
Fairways were dry but lack of rain will do that to a course. The greens were good except for a few that needed some work. Overall the course was in good shape.
Rough conditions
I was surprised by the poor conditions of the course (specifically the greens). About 4 greens were barely puttable. I have played far better recently for far less money. It was my first time here after wanting to play for a long time. What a shame.
This course is absolutely not worth the money!!
We traveled from Dallas and have played similar courses in this price range in the San Antonio area and for this course to be $150 a person is a joke. I wouldn’t have played this course for $30. When we approached the staff about our concerns they simply just said they are waiting on rain…but their job should be to keep course conditions good and playable. These greens were terrible and tee boxes were poorly taken care of. They tried to comp our round and we simply will not even be coming back here again.
Dry and dead
End of march was dry and dead. No green on fairways and hard. Loosing some of the greens too. Worse condition course I’ve played in San Antonio. Didn’t used to be that way. Absolutely terrible for the high price!
